The vessel with my 2023 S was supposed to arrive on June 30th now delayed to 7/2. Arrival at the dealership was 7/7, nothing has changed on this date. It is a short drive of 3-4 hours from the port to the dealership. I don't know how long they will need to process the car at the port and if the ship really gets into the port on the 7/2. Lets wait and see.

Does anybody know how to tell what vessels are at the port in Emden or when they'll be there? My car was supposed to be at / leave the port on 6/28 but is still there. I'm hopeful that it's just that there's no boat there. And hopefully it won't be a month before there's one available.

Update from the dealer that my 2024 Macan S is built and in Emden waiting for a ship. Anybody know the next ship headed to the west coast?

My ship has landed on the local port, 2 days later than planned. Does anybody know how long is it going to take from the time of arrival at the harbor to leave on the truck towards the dealership? TIA

My dealer (UT) hasn’t been able to find that out until cars are on carriers leaving Benicia. Mine just reached port and the SA prepared me for a delay of as much as several weeks. Don’t know if that’s regional.

I just checked the status of the vessel. It arrived around 6am in San Diego and it just left at 9pm toward Benicia. That is crazy, I thought it will take them 2 or 3 to unload the ship but it seems all the cars are out and it is just a question of customs, PDI and truck line up before they go on the truck. I am hopeful the car will be as planned on the truck by Friday.

I am on the SFL Conductor in Baltimore too. I am picking up in Chicago, says should arrive to the port on the 7th and the dealer on the 15th. Hoping for sooner so I can actually get it that day as I am coming from out of state.

Is this the only ship that goes from Emden to Baltimore? Just curious how long my GTS will have to sit at Emden before getting on a boat

The SIEM CONFUCIUS just arrived in Emden today from Baltimore. Not sure where its next port is until it leaves Emden. The SFL Conductor just left Baltimore for Jacksonville. You kinda need to stalk the ships on vessel finder .com figure out.

Thanks a bunch...but how do you know which ships are "possibles"? Is there a list somewhere of all the Porsche / VAG boats?

Noth that I am aware. I believe the entire VW family ships from there. I would momitor the vessel carriers that came to Emden. Once they leave, it displays the next destination and estimated date of arrival. If the "my Porsche" tracker is keeping up and you get a notice your car has left the port, you can figure out what ship your Macan is on. Like I mentioned, it's kind of a "stalking" thing.

My SA told me which ship mine was on, just FYI. But it does seem like you can figure it out by checking a vessel tracker.

My SA told me mine was just released for transport, so it should be here within the next 24-72 hours :-)
