Err, sorry, I mistyped there...should say as an equally spec'd 22 GTS. In other words, my 21 GTS is $7000 less than a 22 GTS with the same spec.

Easy Peazy folks. Here is our build (with Metallic white to keep pricing the same since the configurator no longer accepts MG).

As I noted, no magic - the 2022 GTS is functionally equivalent to the 2021 turbo, down to the PSCBs. Only equipment difference I could find (and confirmed by our SA) was the headliner. I don’t have the 2022 GTS config code handy, but it was for Papaya Metallic and included the full leather/deviated Papaya stitching/Papaya seals belt combo which is equivalent in config to our black leather with MB stitching. When I did the comparison I added all the options to the 2022 GTS that we had on our turbo build. We didn’t order colored seatbelts.
You can play with the configurator all you want, but once you start adding options the delta between the 2022 GTS and the 2021 turbo seems to increase a difference in favor of the 2022 GTS (being lower cost). One cannot rightfully compare the 2022 GTS with the 2021 GTS pricing-wise because the new GTS is really the “old” turbo. Better to compare the new S to the “old” GTS (after adding all the options to the S) since the new S, drivetrain-wise, is the same as the 2021 GTS. Gotta read the specs and not the model designations!

I was told by the SA at a Porsche dealership that the MY22 GTS comes with steel spring. In the Canadian configurator, there is an option in Peformance section to select:
Adaptive Air Suspension incl. Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) $0
But yet, the technical specs in the configurator is stating "Adaptive Air Suspension incl. Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) (Lowered 10 mm)" for standard feature.
So does it come with standard with spring or with air suspension? If I have to settle for an S to have spring, I'm OK with that but I wouldn't mind a GTS with spring.

Assuming it’s the same as in the US, air is standard on 22 GTS and lower by 10mm. The option noted and if selected will give you the “regular” non lower air suspension (like what would be given on an S) verses the sportier 10mm lower GTS air. Springs are not an option on the GTS.

I too have specified a 2022 Macan S. Anyone have a snapshot of the 2022 Macan S VS GTS "standard" equipment. .. Gotta luv the Porsche 2.9l V6tt mated with the PDK in either.

I would not expect any discount on a 22 GTS. At the minimum MSRP and frankly, do not be surprised if most dealers want $5k to $10K ADM over MSPR on a 22 GTS order. I see you are in So Cal, so this is almost a certain from our local dealers here, thus you may want to try reaching out to dealers out of state.
Also, last I heard no US dealers actually have any allocations yet for a 22 GTS and when they do start (hopefully soon), likely will be pretty limited. Dealers all over are taking demand orders, but that is really nothing more then a glorified waitlist letting Porsche know they have paying customers "wanting" an order. There was back up demand for 2021 GTS that could never be fulfilled with the limited allocations and all the delays and supply issues. so one would assume dealers already have a decent size waitlist for 22 GTS both from those that wanted 2021 and those that waited for the 2022 refresh. Unfortunately this will only further the ADM temptation to dealership management.
Lastly, I would not be surprised if we see an influx of posts here come spring and summer of 2022 with both delays for true fixed orders and more so, posts about how "I never got my allocation I thought I had locked in".
I will end this my saying I wish nothing more then to be proved totally wrong on every singe thing I said above. However, given the statistics the past 6 months for all Porsche orders across the model line up, it will not be an easy road.

Yeah, can never hurt to call around for sure. If you want my SA info, happy to help (I have now bought two Porsches from him). He is very cool and easy to work with, but not sure on what his dealerships stance is on 22 GTS orders and ADM etc. Send me a PM if you want his info.
