Had to be a '22 unless PTS since Mamba was discontinued and Python just released.

That was my impression. I have an appointment next week to review allocations and timelines with my advisor. I was told (unofficially) deliveries in March-April time frame. I'll have more info after next week.

Cool. Yeah I could see March / April possible for deliveries. Keep us posted with what you learn.

Well, sometimes you get a bit lucky. After a month production date slip from our April 11 order, our sales associate just called to say our '21 Mamba Green GTS is at the port in Rhode Island, and we should be able to pick it up early next week! It must have jumped on an earlier ship than scheduled (it was supposed to leave Emden tomorrow).

My wife's 2021 Miami Blue Macan GTS is currently on the Bishu Highway somewhere in the North Atlantic approaching Nova Scotia. It is scheduled to make port in Jacksonville on 30 July. Hoping to have it around 13 August!

I think the base price increase is due to equipment levels changing a bit... The new S now seems to slot in between the old S and GTS and new GTS seems to slot in between the old GTS and Turbo. The EV Macan will get the Turbo badge and I can't see that base under $90-95K

We just had an exchange with our SA re our 21 Mamba Green turbo (on the boat, near SanDiego) vs a similarly equipped Papaya 22 GTS. Practically speaking there are no differences except for the RaceTex headliner, which is standard on the turbo. Our 21 is well equipped at $112k (deviated stitching and all perf options). The 22 GTS was about $103k. The exchange was polite and we agreed that there were two real differences. Digging on price and taking the headliner into consideration the 22 GTS was about $8k less *for essentially the same car*. The second difference was that realistically the 22 wouldn’t be delivered until late April or early May (they still haven’t completed som US regulatory resting).
Having agreed that Porsche has done something neither of us had ever experienced by essentially dropping the price by 10% for a new model, our SA is working with the store management to contact the zone rep and work something out. I am not happy about taking a 10% depreciation hit before I’ve even taken delivery. We could cancel and reorder with no penalty (they could sell our admittedly tarted up MG car in a heartbeat) but then we’d have to wait 8-9 months for the GTS, so that’s a non-starter. We'll see what happens next.

Curios to see these two builds you mentioned. Do you happen to have the codes? Not sure how it’s possible to have a 21 gts be $7k more then an equal spec 22gts
