Thanks for the input Mike. I should have plenty of time to begin forming my recommendation while I am at Watkins Glen Monday and Tuesday. Too bad the Dr. won't be there to help with that.....or, maybe he will be helping with that.

I have a proposition.....
Since I am only deemed worthy to attend NHIS (which BTW has an infield course and thus not completely oval) and Mr. Rick Betterley will be instructing there......
Why don't we let him guard me while onsite, maybe even ride with me and give you a real opinion of why I might even be too slow for this team and maybe let go on grounds of:

1. NHIS is actually an outfield course and more fun than some might think.
2. I would propose following Paolo around with a video camera, but don't want to be responsible if he crashes out performing for the camera.
3. I am already known as a FOP (Friend of Paolo, which I earned by helping him spend $ on a track car), so I may not be free of bias here.
4. But, out of loyalty to our esteemed race team (AKA The Only Team Slow Enough for Rick), I will gladly volunteer.
5. How come everybody calls me Sir now? Is it my advanced age?

I must say i wonder if you might have Mr. B on retainer, but know that he will be loyal to the Team!
We know it isn't an oval, which is why it is called a roval. NHIS is to The Glen as GR is to VR when it comes to droving skills.
Mr. B can file a report, along with the required pictures, giving his observations of your behavior while out on work-release. Of course, only The BT can decide what to do with that information. It could work in your favor or against you, just as it could for Mr. B., as I'm sure he will remember!
Rick, the "Sir" stuff could have to do with either your position in life or your age....if it begins at the same time as you begin receiving mail that starts out with "you too qualify for the enjoyment of an Active Adult Community", it is the age thing!
