Haha, thank you. Would like to meet out there sometime.
For sure. I’ll send you a pm next time I go.
The GT4 record will stay with you though as I sold my car a few weeks ago towards an incoming 3RS. Will be interesting to see how much quicker I am in that car!

Congrats on the new car, excited to see it out there.
I know that this thread was one of my favorites and added meaning to my life of spending money on Hoosiers. Someone from tire rack should be sponsoring it.
It's 10F, the winds are blowing out of the northeast at 17 mph, and the snow is coming down sideways. I suspect for a large percentage of us, track season is a ways away still.
Flying Lizard team had Christmas come late!
What's this "snow" you're referring to...not sure we've experienced such a phenomenon!
I'm always amazed at what shows up for track days these days. I remember the old days, E30 sedans, spec Miata's and some American Iron Mustangs and Camaros..
I haven't seen updated times on my home track (MSR Houston) in a while (jslee added a time and it's not on the main post). I have one from a little while ago as well.
1:43.07 with a rolling of 1:42.8 (actual lap, just not stripe to stripe). Theoretical was 1:41.4.
Modifications: Suspension Components to get to 3.0 deg front and 2.5 deg rear camber. Running 265/35/19 and 285/35/19 RE-71r's on stock everything else.
We could start a new one or maybe better a shared google spreadsheet or something.... the new GT4 will be here soon, next time around maybe something a bit more sustainable then relying on one person to do all the work (I would hate doing that myself haha.)
VIR full course: 2:09.6. I have the video and might post, but that is with hitting the brakes several hundred yards before the start-finish line due to lack of a point-by on the front straight! OEM tires. OEM suspension. Only mod is fabspeed sport headers. PTPA screen shot:
We're going back this fall, love VIR. There is a 2:02 in that car with street tires, I can feel it.
I went with PCA Zone 2 for 3 days. I was shot the third day. I believe I have an easy second or maybe two with more throttle/later braking at end of front and back straights. Probably 1 in uphill esses. Getting better at holding entry speed up to the top. That 2:09 lap was the best oak tree turn I've ever made. Vmin was 45 mph! There's more to be had for me coming out of hog pen as well. Not sure I see 2:02 yet, but maybe 2:05 on a great lap!
