you know...they make those receptacle thingys so you don't have to actually buckle your 3pt belts to keep the warning light off...
and I'm a strong believer in HANS with 6-pt harness. high risk of basilar skull fx without it.

Good suggestions..... I've been too lazy or too cheap for the receptacle. Just buckle it. Prob go 6pt on the incoming GT3.

Lars, I just watched your Glen video. Nice lap! Next time huge all the way inside in 5 and 6. There is a ton of camber and thus grip there, and it's worth real time

Road Atlanta - 1:34.69 - 10 Jun 2018 - Pirelli slicks - Mono-ball Suspension
First trip to the fabled and historic Road Atlanta. Boy, oh, boy did it take me a long time to wrap my head around the final corner. That was frightening! I know I can go much faster through the esses and that last corner, so plenty of speed yet to be tapped. I look forward to coming back to search for it! Many thanks to the speedy locals in GT4s who were great rabbits!
The MoTeC system was giving me fits, but the data later showed I ran 1:34.695. Apologies my lap-time doesn't show in the video.

Just having fun chasing my teammate Michael in his Clubsport during a warmup day prior to the PCA Club Race. He's a perfect rabbit!

Funny story. My first year as an instructor, I had a newbie with a Ferrari F430 Spyder and he had the top down. He was progressing nicely and picking up speed. It was one of those blast furnace days in Bakersfield, around 110 degrees F as I recall. I'm sitting right seat, wearing shorts and a t-shirt. As he goes thru the high speed banked sweeper, I can see he begins to understeer and will run off at track-out. Before I can even yell or grab the wheel, he's got 2 wheels in the dirt and he's yanking the wheel to bring it back on track. We go spinning into the infield. Huge cloud of dust. I can't see anything. I'm yelling "keep your foot on the brake". It felt like an eternity until we came to a stop. Still a cloud of dust so thick we couldn't see. We sat there for a minute, waiting for it to clear. I'm asking "are you OK" and saying "wait for a signal from the corner worker". The dust finally settles and promptly turns to mud because we're both soaked in sweat. I felt so bad for the guy. That car needed a MAJOR detail job! That dust is so fine, it just gets everywhere.
