I am panning to be at MSR-C Saturday. I will probably get there early and drive a couple sessions with the GT4 then take out the FM (#25). Weather forecast looks nice! I may drive Sunday or Monday too. I usually park near to and hang out at Texas Autosports. Stop on by! Looking forward to meeting/seeing others there.

He wants to drive the Ferrari F430, Cayman and Evora. They are all automatics, only manual is the Viper. You have to leave the car in full automatic mode for all laps. No telling where this might lead. When he was 16 I bought him an introductory flight in a Cessna 152 where he got to take controls for a bit. Fast forward 7 years and he had his own private pilot's license, all paid with his own $$. When he was 15 I bought him an introductory sailing lesson on a 32' boat, but that didn't result in him getting a sailboat, so who knows . He's in his second year of residency at Vanderbilt in anesthesiology after graduating from Mayo Clinic Medical school. Proud papa? You bet!

Wow, that's awesome!! You have every reason to be proud!! I have always wanted to fly. There is a nice landing strip 3-4 miles north of MSR. (I always thought it would be cool to fly in, drive, fly out!!). I'm an interventional pain physician and work with a lot of anesthesiologists. I know Josh, Trevor, Conner, and Richard who all instruct with Drivexotic. If you have any interest in the open wheel cars, talk with Josh or Conner. Josh used to be one of the Formula Mazda mechanics and Conner was Formula Atlantic champ in 2014 or 2015. He will have fun and that's a great deal! The 1.3 is a lot of fun.
Got a deal on rush49 for $500 gift certificate for $250. Called drivexotic first to make sure they would honor the value, and they said sure no problem. They have a deal to pick 3 of 8 different cars, get 4 laps in each car with a coach in the passenger seat. Can buy 3 extra laps in each car for $75 per car. Insurance is $40 for $1000 deductible for the entire 3 car deal and all laps.

I am glad he is ok. That sucks. I absolutely hate hearing about track incidents. That's actually my biggest concern about renting the Wolf. It is low, very light (to be running with sport cars), and its an expensive car.
