Does anyone have any recommendations on clear bra installers in the Houston area? I know XPEL has a Houston location, anyone have experience with them or recommend others?

My gt4 was wrapped by xpel Houston. I couldn't be happier. Went with xpel stealth. A few members have seen my car at cota and commented about how good it was.

I believe most of their business is subcontracted by Porsche north, mclaren and Lamborghini Houston. I purchased my car from Porsche north and it went directly to them.

Good luck

Yeah I was leaning towards using them but now I think I will after your experience. I saw on their website all the high end exotics they deal with so I'm confident they're going to be good.

Thanks for the replies!

Hmmm...an M2 that I saw wrapped by them didn't turn out very well IMO

Well. For me. My car was perfect. I inspected every panel carefully.

Why didn't the m2 owner go back and have them redo it? I would if I were him. Plus 10 year warranty.

Usually the guys who do dealer wraps are not the best. Yes, this includes high end cars like McLaren, Lamborghini, and Ferrari.

I was at COTA for the race yesterday & was thrilled watching those guys fly through T19. Does anyone know how fast those guys are going at that turn? Even though I had seats at 12, I ended up spending most of the day walking through every turn on the track. I hope the event was successful enough to bring them back next year.

Good attendance this year, the live music during and after the race was successful attendance-wise, and based on my anecdotal observations of souvenir sales, they probably made more money this year on souvenirs than any of the 4 years prior. I've gone every year since the inaugural race in 2012, and also to the WEC race last month. I've sat in all the bleachers and checked all general admission viewpoints. For my money, my favorite seats for general admission are between turn 10 and 11 right in front of the big screen, and for reserved seats are at the top of the turn 7 bleachers near the West end of the grandstand.

They will be back next year, barring of course any intervention by the state of Texas like what nearly derailed the race after last year's race, and any hiccups with Bernie and crew.

Which tracks are within 2-3 hours of Austin? My family might be moving there next summer. I've been spoiled living in the NorCal Bay Area with 3 local tracks. I noticed there's some sort of driving school for road cars and karting near austin as well. Anyone been there before? Is it a private track just for the school?
