Regarding tire options

1) Bridgestone RE71R: A pro racer I know has tested these tires against NT01 and lap times were equivalent. Price is much better than cup2. They make them in 245/40-19 and 285/35-19. You lose a touch of width in the rear, but this might be a good alternative?

2) Kumho V720. I drive a viper ACR this past weekend at Laguna and these tires are AMAZING. Better than any other R comp I've run before, including dunlop maxx race, NT01, cup2, and TrofeoR. They don't make in our size, but we need to call Kumho and beg for these

Definitely call Kumho (used to be sponsored by them). They will be releasing more sizes I am sure.

So with the 5mm That would make the effective offset of the rear 19X11" et61?
OZ racing has leggra hlt in 19"x11" et65 wondering if that could work or
the leggra hlt in 19x11 ET50.

The other way: 51. Its the difference between mounting surface and wheel center line.

Cool. How much camber do you have? Also, at the risk of measuring something how close is it, roughly?

I talked to Kumho today, and they said they are releasing 9 more sizes in the V720 in the next phase, which will be sometime from Feb.-April 2016. The next phase after that will be towards the end of 2016 or early 2017.

TT

Hi guys,
I wanted to chime in and update everyone on our new location. Our contractor dropped the ball a bit on our new facility and we have been at a standstill for about six weeks waiting on an occupancy permit (just received it on Christmas eve). We will be cutting again the week of the 4th.
Every model we have is available in 19" for GT4's running steel brakes. We had a car with carbon brakes coming in on Jan 4, but they decided to sell the car so it is no longer available. Our shop GT4 is still a couple of months out so if anyone knows an Austin area owner,(pccb or steel for 18") please pass our information along - 512 580 4260.
As mentioned we are working on an 18" package for steel brakes as well.
Thanks for your patience.

Br,

Daniel
