It looks feasible in front, but the toe arm in the rear is going to be a major problem. Maybe with a 10" rim, lower ET, and an unobtanium low profile knuckle.

So, I saw one post with winter tires on the 19" OZ wheels from Tire Rack. Has anyone tried Hoosiers on those wheels yet? If so, what sizes have you tried and how did the car feel? I know they are only 8.5 front and 10" rear, that's why I am asking. TIA.

We ran the 245/35/19 and 295/30/19 Hoosier R7's on the BBS wheel in this video and photos...
BBS CH-R 19x8.5" 19x11"
The car was fantastic, so balanced, so neutral.

Remember that ET50 on a 20" is OEM and how much room that left to the link. Std 19" with that ET50 would hit the OEM link.

it is a very close but cleared mine. i also have a lot of camber. i assumed (shouldn't) that if they wanted 19" they are running it on track a lot and run big cambers.

Take a look at the post/pic

here.

The one issue common to most forums is that most talk wheel width and rarely provide ETs and even rarer yet provide alignment settings. All of those can affect whether or not something fits (street or track).

Thanks. This will be for track setup, but trying to make the most of the stock suspension bits for the time being.

I setup a public spreadsheet here - we can keep track of wheel sizes, alignments, etc.

Full disclosure, we ended up running a 5mm spacer in the rear and it was perfect with the Hoosier tire and our alignment specs.

James (or anyone else) do you have to have a 981 Shop manual? Can you take a screen grab of the official ride height measurement locations? - thx
