Australian GT4s

Depends... how cheap are you offering?
More interested to see whether the market for Aussie GT4 will indeed hold up but looks like stock is really not moving so doesn't look good especially with more coming... still early days I suppose.
I'm thinking folks who wanted a GT4 and missed out on the extra extended allocations probably also had a reason and therefore can wait for the anticipated 982 NA GT4 built to spec rather a used 981. Then again, the GT4's time in the sun may have passed by then... especially with the anticipated manual 991.2 GT3 coming... for more dollars of course.
Of course, wait a little longer when folks are being driven by their own composite hydrogen powered AI on wheels and all of the above could appreciate like 993's (and/or be the scourge of society being noisy smelly metal antiques as desirable as an iPhone1).
yeah... maybe I should start collecting cheap ones

Love to have you with us, just have them deliver it to Melbourne, join us on Sunday and then drive it home. but seriously, I'm sure you can get a group drive happening Sydney. All the best with the delivery, it really is pretty special.

Thanks mate. Can't wait. Once I have it then I'll see if the guys in Sydney would do a drive but doesn't seem like many are here.

Sans track ready GT3 bits/adjustable rear suspension but otherwise basically the same car with a retro styled open top rather than the hard top with race car wing. Performance should be quite comparable on the road for a drive... track day should be a bit different

I assume the red spyder is Dave/DN?
I'm going to be in Sydney for the next couple of weekends (23/24 and 30/31) and thinking about a drive up north to see the new car museum. After that I'm gone until mid october (via Bonneville speedweek, monterey car week, spa F1, Manx GP, Goodwood revival and Japan F1 so my car/racing addiction should be satisfied). If I am in Sydney I'm generally always up for a drive.

I'm in Sydney and depending on the weekend would be keen for a group drive with other GT4's. Old pacific highway is always good fun. I know of one other GT4 owner not on the forum that would also be keen.

FWIW on P-9 there are some Spyders who get together in Sydney-

Still waiting on dealer to let me know the car has arrived to them, they said it should be today. Hopefully they can get it ready for delivery Friday or Saturday.

I have a source that did a bit of digging and mentioned the total number all up delivered to Australia and New Zealand would stand at 283 cars. Not sure what the split is between the two regions but that does include cars delivered in 2015, 2016 to date, cars on the water and the remaining cars queued or currently in production.
Having also seen the advert for the NSW car that was delivered on a transporter - I assume the advert is legitimate but the photos are not as they're widely available on Google image search and the interior was of a GT3 (last time I looked). Are you in the market for a cheap GT4 Dr1ven?

Yes I put it in an earlier post. If you are a train spotter like me that likes to keep a car's history then you can ask the dealer for:
Shipping labels which details the vin and options
QA stickers
My folding buckets had VW shipping labels on them
The cars come with a plastic pocket with some final parts needed for your vin, in the pocket is a pick list of parts needed for your vin.
