Yep. He's costing me a lot of money. And here he is making a cameo.

Congrats!

It looks like several folks here got their cars from Town. Are they an MSRP dealer?

I got my 981S from Town. Good group of guys. But my SA left so I got my GT4 allocation from Danbury where I had a relationship with another SA ...

Got it.

Trying to figure out a list of MSRP vs. "market rate" dealers in the local area.

The topic is a bit controversial but hey, if we can help someone from being taken advantage of, why not?

Congrats!!! We're going to have one big Gt4 group this spring/summer.
Town is one of my preferred dealers. Jones Kim is great! I would've like to get my GT4 through him but didn't get an allocation.

Jones Kim from Town verbalized strongly against charging over MSRP.

Mine was msrp from Larchmont Porsche who supposedly even sold a GT3 RS at msrp.

I worked with Raj at Paul Miller - The car was initially sold at MSRP. I bought it "used" from them with about 250mi on the odo. It wasn't sitting on their lot for a long time (1 day)... I paid slightly over MSRP, still below market rate.

Local dealer list and what folks have gotten their cars for.

PM me with your experience if you want to remain anonymous.

Town: MSRP
Larchmont: MSRP
Ray Catena: MSRP
Paul Miller: MSRP, Market rate (used)
Wallingford Porsche: MSRP

This list would look so different for Cali Sometimes I wonder why I'm even considering moving there.

Whaaaaa. Lucky you! Before I went in to config my Gt4 I was wondering if anyone got any discount with their Gt4. I felt like it would be an insult to ask my SA if there's any room for negotiation.

How many Porsches (or other cars) have you purchased from your SA? My dealership is a Porsche/Audi dealership and I've been buying both brands from the GM since 1999 so he gives me killer discounts as a reward for my loyalty.

But I didn't ask for nor did I expect one on the GT4.

Got my car today. Weeeee. Found something I don't like about that I probably could have figured out in other caymans... assuming the steering wheel is similar? Or maybe not.

I usually set the steering wheel at the lowest position... and at that position on this car I can't see what rpms I'm at cause it's half covered... have to put it at about mid way point. Might because I don't usually sit so upright like the lwbs make me sit? Any who minor annoyance. Everything else so far is awesome! 974 more break in miles to go...

Congrats! 50 degrees forecast for the area tomorrow, so try to get a few more break in miles under your belt.

Bought two new Porsches at Town and paid MSRP for both. One was the GT4. Also bought my first Boxster there and had a couple of Audis serviced by them. They're a good dealership.
