support vbox-sport gps divice you best put external gps magnetic revicer on car at nur. As Well other tracks to be sure to get best possible conectins With satelites. Due to all threes and elevation its a must here at nur anyway.

Porsche track app works just fine. I Done just a total of 10 laps on touristfharen and its crowded With cars, hence best BTG( bridge to gantry) is just 8 min lap. Got very nice vid of this 8 min btg lap and it shows the traffic. But its works very nice this app when used With vbox-sport 20hz device. With thru speeds! Sure you cant expect the app to show real stuff if onley use the iPhone 1 Hz update and then film!!



Note, 2laps in a row. First lap a few sec faster. On trackday IT Will be much quicker due to not many cars on track then.

Did adjust My rear rollbar to a more oversterry setup as is on par With My driving style. Did a few laps in stock neutral setting and i like IT more oversterry

i am really poor at this and simply use my iPhone 6 for timing using Harry's lap timer.

Heard good things about the vbox and may use that. but if i get the box, why would i then buy the porsche track app? If anything I just want the plots and not the video.

You may use what you like, but will not get real update on just an iPhone. Other than that i just herd som much talk this app dont work Well, but it does. On a vbox-HD you just got a film then you need to take time to hook up to your computer to do the overlay, I Rather skip that, thats not needed on this app. As Well not on Harrys, still for me its just toys, and i dont care so much.
But the racelogics app is great display of lapimes, 0-100km/h or 0-to what ever...and very easy to use With vbox-sport.



I anyway got all to choose from, vbox-HD, vbox-Sport, racelogics driftbox, Harrys wich work With vbox-sport and the Porsche app. No worry just want to try It out. Did find out today that racelogics vbox-sport driven With the racelogics app got the wrong finish line setting on the BTG lap at Nurburgring. Sure one can set it yourself manualy. But thats a misstake from racelogics.

I have Racelogic / Vbox and you don't have to do anything. The video comes pre-merged with video on an SD card, ready to play. But its $3000.00

The Porsche app is very nice if we can learn and understand better how to use it and add cameras. Thank you for feed back.
Still also don't understand it properly.

Tru, its more of a issue to learn the app i guess, there are a few steeps to get it started. First is to put in chassi nr from your gt4 in to app. Yes this magnetic external gps reciver is for securing good gps on the elevated nur, and due to threes. Whit out it you Will get dropouts on nur. Post pick of My vbox-HD instal in a day or so. Run vbox HD on trackday. Its similar to what you use👍

Thanks, its as a totaly new car for me, so its exciting to feel the car out. Had to pass ap 37-40 cars in that 8 min lap, henc you lose plenty of time.

How do you have red stitching on the steering wheel, but black door pulls and platinum stitching elsewhere?

I thought red stitching on the wheel would mean red on the doors and door pulls.

This black car is not my car, just see it at Raeder /Manthey and took some pic as i know you guys is keen on cage solutions for USA. My car is White/ black door pulls and silver stiching👍

Thanks. The sport auto lap wich is full lap except ap. 170meters at T13 section was 7.42. That translate to ap. a BTG lap of 7.22. Thats ap. the cars potential, even 7.20 BTG if to translate Timo Gluck:s full sport auto lap of 7.40. (Porsche driver) But this laps are totaly free of other cars.

( translate full sport auto lap to bridge to gantry lap= take out long straight ad in T13).
