I'll take some more pics of the interior tomorrow.
Driving it it feels alot better balanced than my 997 GT3 RS MkII (big surprise?). It hasn't got the same power out of the bends but in my opinion it's more fun to drive. Easier to handle (some would say less challenging)..
I totally love it though!

A few days after nur event I did autocross or slalom event with Porsche club. Wow this car is fast thru the cones.

I drove hardest setting on the dampers and all ESP/traction totaly off. The levels of speed and grip was super. Other competition was 991, 996gt3 Rs, race 944, mk1 996 gt3, and so on. Ap 30 cars.

As I was late and hade my son With me we just grabbed a burger and was out of competition due to late arrival. Still I did 2 laps slow With My son and and 4 runs by My selfe. It turned out that I did the overal fastest lap of the day:-).

Man this cars fly thru the autocross;-) its so grippy and planted. The gt3 guys had a long Face after:-). Hm, they even came to the event on transport, aggressive set up cars:-). My gt4 is still factory setting in camber/toe, but wow it drives anyway. Still driving hardest setting rear rollbar and softest front- its sweetspot to my liking.

All us cars outside competition. Still My gt4 got fastest time of all competitors on this day, 53.10sec. Among the ap 30 cars the winner did 53.40sec in a 996 mk1 gt3, as Well thats the guy setting the track, hence drive the track in all morning pre event.

Bergwerk
Here is i screenpic from my 7.36 btg Harry lap, without gps reciver. This lap is only filmed on my iPhone 6, hence 1hz up date only. This lap Harry cut the lap way before the accually finish line at gantry.

As Well speed lag all lap. Just to clarify, Porsche app as Well Harrys is not accurate if only on iPhone / android. Porsche app on gps reciver do cut the lap exakt at finish line(gantry). The Harry lap cut way before gantry finish line. No one of these things Will work if you only use the iPhone/ android. (1hz update). All need at least external gps 10-20hz to show real laptime/speed

Harry Without gps reciver cut this lap at 7.36, thats ap 2sec before the real finish line(gantry) <br/>

That is some great driving. Impressive! Are you using the auto blip in sport mode?

Thanks, it acually not that fast this lap, its 7,41 btg. Anyway I use auto blip and I now know it will not save you from locking up the diff and get you to a big slide even if you have auto blip on:-). If you drive aggressive high reving on the downshift auto blip can not prevent the diff (car) doing a nasty lockup and one better be preperd with god reactions to save the slide. This gt4 pivoit around it center of mass pretty fast. I very much noticed that when I did plenty of fast rain laps.

Haha I'm sure that will catch a few drivers out before they notice! I noticed that the official 7:40 lap is driven with the sport button "on" even with a professional driver. I will experiment once I get the car.

Great thread. I snapped this on the 26th. I figured the GT4 Rennlist folks would get a kick out of it. But, I see the owner beat me to it.

Tru, Porsche driver Timo did 7.40 sport auto lap. As Well sport auto did 7.42.66 sport auto lap, auto blip on, soft setting of chassi and all traction/ESP off.

did it feel weird to rely on auto blip for downshift or is it something you get used to pretty quickly?

It feels natural going whit autoblip, when driving hard anyway. My opinion is it feel more weird to use it when not driving hard. Sure if on autoblip in city then to much peopel turn their head and you got to much attention. If thats a bad thing or not others must decide. But for me I get to much attention then. But on track its feels very natural and fine.
