Not sure yet I do it, its kind of a bit to much Money for a bmw. Still 500hp and 600nm on a 1475kg car aint to bad. It Said to lap nur at 7.28 min sport auto lap, thats 8 seconds slower than 991 gt3 Rs (comparing Factory times)wich is alot slower accually
I get a LOT of questioned about track app, as well there been some talk that overlay video can't upload to youtube. Well accually you can. Just export data(csv.) from app to email and Send data. Then do overlay on the raw app recording film found in iTunes. If anybody need help you can send csv. to a friend of me, he can do the overlay for som euros. Then you got the same data from Porsche app and you just upload to youtube or where ever you like.

Now you can upload to youtube, same data as Porsche film. Mind you I just took pic with My iphone from the screen of My iPad. Anyway Quality is god and I put out the film one day so you see.
Here is a Quick and easy external data overlay on the raw iphone6 Porsche app film. See description for more info on the accual overlay. You might chose other speed dails and you might want to make overlay of all app data, like steering angle etc. Well just had this Quick and easy done by a friend. See my Chanel for stock app film.
Raclogics vbox-HD incar film, including 991 GT3 RS (trackcar). I might consider raclogics new HD Box coming out 2016, then it got 2 cameras like vbox-lite. Now I tested some filmning and I think I like this angle best.
If I still have my car next year I will aim at 7.20btg lap. There is no speed limit next year so 7.25btg will come easy. Next 5 seconds for sure will not come easy in stock gt4! I Might consider More camer as stock camber you need to set the lap time instant on fist lap due to less camber tire will get worse every lap....
If on More camber then tire can handle More laps in a row, and that make it more easy to set a fast lap. On stock car its For sure More of a challenge to set fast laptimes.

Man, that gearing is really long but at the Ring shifting less helps also. Lookes like a lot of work now that I had PDKS at the track.
You need a giant captain sticker on your hood so we know it's you, I was moving over and lighting up the brake lights facilitating the easiest possible pass just in case for every white Cayman that might be you, I would hate to mess up a 7:3X lap!!!
Camera should be a couple of cm higher, aiming down a little more with a wide angle lens so you can see more road and your feet maybe.. The much bright light? What camera, it's HD but light setting wrong?
I will get VBox HD when it arrives, in the meanwhile Harry's lap timer works Ok for the money.

RS would be fun. I am sure I pretty easy will do 7.25 btg in gt4 if no speedlimits and flyerlap timing on the btg start. In RS i guess I would cut 10 second on that More or less on power only. So I guess I dont need to carry higher Vminimum tru bends in RS than what I do in GT4, even it would be More easy to do so in RS due to better overall grip and downforce.
Factory time in RS was as I recal 7.20min. Now sport auto did same lap in 7.32 on speedlimits ( delta ap. 4 seconds, like 7.28 if no limit)
Translate Factory time to btg time, well thats ap. 7.02 btg, so there is a reference to go at. Translate sport auto Rs lap to btg, well thats ap. 7.14btg.
Gt4 is 7.40 Factory time. Translate to ap. 7.20 btg. Sport auto gt4 lap was ap.7.43wich translate to ap. 7.23 btg. Thats More or less some references.

With age come wisdom and one know better they say and that translate to Iguess i will not do it. I was flat tru foxhole compession in my M3 CSL with gps speeds @ap. 257-259 as max Vmax down there. That was like 2006/2007, age do things with you..My CSL was 360hp on 1450kg car (no driver)
GT4 is 385hp on 1430kg car(no driver) so one need ostrich eggs size ***** to make that omelett happen. It might work, but I am to old to find out:
You would be doing ap. 265 gps tru the compression. All I remember is going tru compression in 257 gps is unreal. It kind of feel like you are going to explode out of the cars roof due to them G:s
My max Vmax in GT4 is 243gps and thats letning go of accelerator long before lowest part of the hole(compression)
To reach high Vmax down the hole at Nur one need ostrich ***** in lowpower cars like gt4/csl etc. To reach these speeds down there in 991 gt3 etc those power cars, well thats not at all scary due to you reach those speeds way before you are close to compression. Only thinking about the hole thing make sweet
