I was ready to accept looks were subjective. Until now. Obviously this mings. But interestingly the painted flaps are not that bad. Shame they are tarred with the bling brush. Having said that, we haven't seen it with the roof up.

Does anyone know if the Spyder on the flaps is on with double sided tape?
I ask because I would like to see what it looks like removed no paint and removed with painted flaps

I could tell you in a month as they are gonna be ripped off as soon as the car comes in, unless I could have them removed during PDI. But, I am sure someone already have an answer.

PAG should make painting the flap an option on the configurator.

I actually like the look top down, and with it up it would look great too I think. The only thing then would be to paint the Spyder logo in black to match the rear badging.

Not a fan of the wheels, but the body-colored flap looks great with the top down. But I bet that with the top up, it will really emphasize that weird flying buttress. I wouldn’t be surprised if that is the reason why Porsche made it black...

To my eye having the flap black seems to lessen the "crease" between the flat surface and the humps. But I also prefer the painted flaps and I would want the logo painted in body color to lessen it's appearance.

Who likes plastic? I'm definitely not a fan of all the black plastic bits especially on the body panels or as design elements. The black cars really hide the plastic well, the lighter cars suffer for it. I knew what I was getting... I'm focusing on all the positives. Don't think I will paint them, but Porsche would have done well to offer to paint them as an option.

It's all subjective.
