Default 981 Spyder!!!!

I've got 3 months before my config locks in Feb for a March build and then 4 more months until a planned June delivery!

Not sure I can survive the next 7 months just diddling w the Porsche configuration and pouring over online spydie ****. I'd love to be able to check out delivered spyders in-person, view colors and options in the flesh, and get impressions from new spydie owners.

Is anyone interested in a San Francisco Bay Area spydie meet up for guys wanting to show off their new babies to guys still pregnant?

We're probably reaching a level of critical mass of owners and soon-to-be owners in these parts... and there will be more every month!

How about breakfast and a drive?

I'll volunteer to organize the innaugural meet-up starting at Alice's Restaurant in Woodside followed by a spirited drive thru the Santa Cruz mountains. If there's interest, we can pick a date and get rolling!

I love the CF shifter. Debated a bit and went with standard. The painted trims on the door might make you cold or hot when resting the arm. So I think; but, you may not have that issue. Looks pretty cool.

I should be putting up some pics in a few days. My SA said my car is being inspected at the dock in Jacksonville today!

Same here. Mine is at the Jacksonville port and awaiting the truck at last report. Although I'm in North Florida, I bought in Atlanta, so mine needs to be delivered up there first. Hoping to pick it up Saturday.

I empathize with you guys waiting....it was a struggle for me the last few months and finally I just took delivery. San Diego Porsche was amazing and so responsive! This Spyder amazes me every day....so much more car that I imagined in so many ways! Definitely a long-term keeper for me.
