Agreed. The GT,silver will look amazing on this,car, don't frett. We all have different tastes. Like Iortho, I would gave gone GT silver but the current car is silver and I wanted something different.Is it expensive to plasti dip wheels? I didn't want the black wheels either, just not to my taste.
Meh, I don't put any stock in the color opinion of others. You order what speaks to you! I love my GT silver car with black interior (see avatar) and would have easily chosen it again on the Spyder especially with the classic interior pkg, except can't have 2 silver cars. Yours will look awesome -- don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. I'm just happy the guy who posted that review has plenty of experience to compare the 987 Spyder and the 981 Boxster S!!!! Remember back when initial reviews were somewhat mixed......? I think it is going to be a great car, and a classic like it's predecessor!
I know, it's just a sore spot with me. I made my decision and thought it through and arrived at silver. The pictures above look great and make me feel better. I can't f n wait to get my hands on this car. Already planning a trip around the old USA for the Spring - literally around.
Pete.. Would you consider guards red with red interior? I know I want the red interior and pretty set on gt silver.. But seeing those red pics above with black contrast grills/front spoiler etc makes me all shivery all over
The multi-stage metallics are heavy, so they're slowest. Most solid colors weigh about the same, but white reflects sunlight and keeps the car cooler. A cooler car means you use less AC, and AC robs power through parasitic drag. White's also less of a cop magnet. So white's the fastest color on average, though grey blends in better at twilight so it edges white in the evening...
Great pics!!! Are those sun visors leather?... Because I thought recently we had seen red sun visors which is why I switched to leather.. These show black though?
