Nothing that 10 minutes with a hair dryer/heat gun can't fix.

It's not that easy! Have you seen those letters up, close and personal? The letters are embedded/grooved into the trim piece, unlike model designation that is glued with double-sided adhesive. One option is to take that trim piece out, pry out those letters, fill and repaint.

Fishing line works well! I use that and then a coat of wax to clean it up! Sometimes we have to repaint bumper covers so they have to come off before going back on.

Interesting. Have you used the fishing line to remove 'P O R S C H E' from the 982 trim piece? After removing those letters, were there grooves?

I'm pretty sure there are a lot of people with deposits down on a GT4RS - will they make it is a different question? and why play the allocation game is another one

My guess is that Porsche for MY 2020-2021 will say fairwell to the 982 body with a PDK GT4. It might very well be dubbed the "GT4RS" and have limited production numbers and carbon body parts.
For 2022, the Cayman GT4 will most likely go turbo at that point.

Totally agree, however considering who posted it lends a bit more credibility than your average RL member that’s all I was getting at.

True - they were certainly trying a range of engines

Every European dealer I have spoken with has claimed no GT4RS and will not put a list together on "silly speculation".

I hear there are a lot of guys in South Florida first on the list with deposits all cleared...

My dealer has a GT4 RS list too.....same thing happened when the 981 GT4 was launched and some people hold out for the RS that never happened......hell, they will make a list for anything a magazine or forums says, in our case without deposits.
