718 GT4?

Of course, for me, my 981 with GT3 exhaust and Race headers sounds better than all of them combined!!!! Je je...too bad wont be able to use this exhaust combo on the 781.

Motor = engine, they're interchangeable.

Agree the new car doesn't sound as good as that 981 above. On another note, in that 981 video, wtf was that corner worker doing sitting outside the barrier mid corner at .40 of that video? Good way to get yourself killed.

I am no expert in the way the homologation works but could it be that porsche is retaining the 3.8L from the old clubsport and tweaking it with the X51 kit for the new clubsport race car. Technically, that engine is still based on the older (981) GT4 and maybe homologation rules allow the X51 kit to be added to it. That car can then be revealed before 2019 Jan as TCS, BGB and Whoopsy have pointed to. This will not take the limelight away from the 992 reveal since the 992 will be the street car while the GT4 will only be the race car.
The new street GT4 can then use whatever engine that everyone seems to be speculating from a 4 cylinder turbo to a 4L flat six. Porsche can then unveil this at a later point when it deems fit. It technically will not have a clubsport car based on it till maybe later (Next year or year after) when porsche wants to or feels the need to further strengthen the GT4 race car.
I hope someone with more knowledge on this chimes in because this thread has gotten really confusing the last 2 weeks or so.

This thread cracks me up... I keep coming back to see if there is any new news and it’s the same stupid arguments about the exact same stuff... just regurgitated over and over.

For some reason, I am getting the sense that we won't see the consumer version of the GT4 until late 2019.
