The GT4 is a gateway drug to more expensive 911 and GT models. They will keep the price affordable for that reason alone. $93k base in my opinion.

Spyder and Coupe = Manual
Coupe Clubsport = PDK only
Coupe RS if (BIG if) approved PDK only.

This is why the GT4 is so great. Affordable motorsports-oriented Porsche. What a value proposition. Looks more awesome than a base 911 and costs less too.

anti particulate filters are mandatory for new models, it could've been worse if the car was turbo
my only concern is will that filter removal cause a CEL? (it usually does)

There are two different cars in this clip. The one with the plate ending 1505 occupies most of the clip and is clearly a manual.

But right in the middle of the clip there is a second car with a plate ending 8030. It's only in the video for a very short time and only does one down shift approaching the carousel and one up shift just after. I might be imagining it, but both sounded like PDK shifts.

I really really hope there will be Pdk option,
with those turbo pdk gts around, you risk that a stage 2 with some coilovers go faster than a gt4

So? There's always going to be faster cars. There's probably plenty of modified Miatas out there that are faster than a GT4. So what?

A turbo PDK 718 modified to be faster than a GT4 will not deliver the same driving experience that a naturally aspirated manual GT4 will give.

718 GTS won't have the Aero, brakes, or suspension that a GT4 has... it may have a straight line advantage with a tune but the GT4 should still be a better track car in my opinion. There is more to the GT4 than just the engine.
