Totally agree. If you want an in investment go buy some stocks (obviously not Tesla hahaha) or bond. Cars are an expense and some you get out of cheaply and others cost you both an arm and a leg. Personally I find them hard to sell so have ended up with a too-full garage.....I love them all.

I don't think Porsche will price it starting at over 100k. I think they know this will push a lot of the younger newer potential clients out. That 100k boundary is a lot mentally for some people compared to a 98k car. Secondly I do not see the demand being as crazy as it was for the first GT4 (it will still sellout though). Back then that was the only manual GT car available and a lot of GT3 buyers wanting a manual switched over. With the .2 there won't be that huge influx of people from there, however there are still all the new clients that wanted a .1GT4 but couldn't get one. So if they price it to high a decent number of those new clients, I believe will disappear. I think it will start at 92-94 but wouldn't be shocked at a 96msrp. The bigger question for me is if they are going to price the Spyder higher this time out.

MnC what other colors did the configurator list under metallic options? Was sapphire blue available?

exactly
i would be up for a 108k€\$ gt4 but only if i have cage buckets lift and perhaps PDK included in the price
instead if i have to add those mandatory options at the 108k, i will be in the low 130k territory which is no thanks

I am trying the Porsche Italy configurator and I do not see the 981 GT4 or even the Cayman GT4 option anywhere. Can you tell us how and where you are seeing this ??
Also, are the colors and options you see all from the 981 GT4 or are there any new options that were not there for the 981 GT4 ???

More importantly, what did it list for engine and HP?
The rendering looks like the current GT4.

It looks like a glitch that links to the old GT4 model configurer. I don't know why the price has changed though. You can see it if you start building any car and then in the configurer you select to change the model. The old Caymans are still there in the Italian builder. There are even some that still had the 918. The top address bar still shows the last model you were building rather than the 2019 982810.

I see it ok. They just forget to delete the old Cayman line in the config which leads to the Cayman GT4. The 718 line is there but with no GT4.
