718 GT4?

Still a lot of subtle cladding and disguising of the final look
Some very subtle cladding between door and rear wheel covering up a likely different opening for side intake
Cladding between door and rear arch
There is tape covering an opening ahead of the front wheel

Three Wheelin'
I'm glad I'm moving forward on buying a 981 GT4. Unless the 718 has some significant power gains or features over the current GT4, I don't know if I can justify upgrading. Apple CarPlay and building a car to my taste would be ideal but the price delta will be significant.

Is the most recent info now an upturned 9A1 variant to 4.0 from the Carreras S motor in the 981 and not a detuned 4.0 from the GT3?

Back exhaust and defuser reminds me of a BRZ, the back is just all wrong. Wheels look fine, not too different to 981 but just enough of a more modern aggresive look. Not a fan of the more angular lines of tail lights, looks very Jap in styling. Not as nice looking as the 981 IMO.

1. Better traction (important with a powerful engine powering only the rear wheels)
2. Better Braking (even a 911 gets most of its stopping power from the front wheels, but makes more use of its rear brakes/tires than any other configuration)
3. Better handling stability at the limit of adhesion and beyond
The 911 is not the most successful design in the history of sports car racing in spite of its engine placement (as some would assert). Without the motivation of the under-body diffuser, I don't think they would have flipped the drivetrain.
