This looks like a cayenne the jolly green giant stepped on. These spy photos never show what the car will look like.

The 2002 Cayenne S debuted with a 4.5 ltr 340 hp engine. With 5 years of technological advancement, Porsche hasn't figured out how to make more than 10hp from the same engine with a larger displacement?
Currently, this car appears to be nothing more than a front engined 911 4-door. A 2-door Panamera will be none other than a front engined 911. Isn't that a neat concept....a car company that makes two of the same car except one of them has the engine in the rear and the other has the engine up front.
By 2012, Porsche will be right back to where they left off in 1995 with a 350hp front engined V-8 sports car; except for now it will look more like a 911 instead of a 928. The possibility of the 928 numbering on the Panamera makes sense, especially if the Panamera evolves to look like a 928 by 2020. Round and Round we go!

.............Yikes...this is day-ja-vo. i would love to see what the car would have to look like, and be made of to make some of you happy.
Dont get me wrong, Id love to see lots of changes. Just this silliness about "Porsche should stick to sports cars" is crap. If you want them to stick to what made Porsche then they need to start making TANKS!!!!!!
Bottom line Porsche is an Engineering/Design Company that LOVES the verb "SPORTS" and adds its DNA to all kinds of products.
If i could afford it i would have "PORSCHE" design my next prosthetic leg!!!.....might be to fast for my real leg though and just make me spin in a real fast circle..lol

That's what most people said when the 928 was introduced...

Aye to that, I guess lot's of you weren't around, at least Rennlist wasn't, in 76-78 when the 928 was being mass introduced. 928ers seem to be more like 911 hard core folk all the time.........
