Where will all the copper come from? LOL. Maybe we go back to the future and start harnessing lightning at 1.21 GW per strike...

LOL you guys. You tell me you're not interested in what Porsche can do with a 2 seat coupe / roadster electric car? Sad! I like the sound of my engine and exhaust as much as the next guy, but I'm keeping an open mind here.

I'm not interested in any vehicle that I can't get with a manual transmission. That's the only issue I have with electric vehicles. I don't care about how much power it has. (And PLEASE, don't start a lecture about my preferred transmission.....)

My dealer vp’s seen the real thing he said, but no pictures allow.
But he said it’s very cool looking.
I wouldn’t doubt that but the whole ev experience will be different.

i like the idea having EV as an option … I don’t like the idea of having it as the ONLY option.

I have a deposit on an electric G Wagen, the EQG; however, as long as I am alive it will share a garage with a manual Porsche (most likely my Spyder), and a Harley, which is a manual as well!

The technology might be exciting and interesting but there like driving a big golf cart , you have forward & reverse . Yes they are very fast but no shifting no sound out the back end .I have zero interest in owning one no matter who builds it .

I’m optimistic that a 3000 lbs or lighter electric 718 might be the first fun electric sports car. Maybe it takes a couple more generations but I think fun & emotional electric sports cars will eventually get built.

Honestly for me the loss of a lot of the auditory signals and vibrations is actually what i dislike about EVs. I love hearing the engine, knowing where it is in the rev range based on the sound and then learning where it likes to shift to get the best power. I love feeling the vibrations of the engine and how it moves the car as i give it throttle. EVs for me are just too muted and numb. I dont really care about speed or power, and especially when its not paired with any sort of visceral experience.
