It’s probably the largest monthly car show in the world. Guessing 3000 cars show up some months, especially with nice weather.
The demographics of car enthusiasts, what they bring and the interaction is really is the spectacle.
You’ll find exotics, race cars, rat rods, low riders, muscle cars, import clubs and the list goes on and on and on. Everyone has the same interest and it’s such a melting pot of conversations between so many different types of people of all ages.
When it was at Perimeter Mall a Russian submarine was on the back of a trailer once. They often film the TV show too for highlights of what folks bring.
It’s insane and some can’t handle the crowds, the music, the smell of cigars and various vape flavors, but I think it’s an Atlanta treasure and especially because it’s free - and there’s almost always room for one more Porsche in their dedicated lot. If you haven’t been, you gotta go at least once.
I pretty much grew up going to that mall and area through out my young life, teens, and beyond. Yet, I've been yet simply due to the traffic and crowds of people. Plus I hate getting up early on my days / wknd's off.
Went to C&O Today in my 'new to me' gt4 that I got yesterday. Unfortunately didn't get the chance to talk to or meet any porsche owners though. Was wicked cold today so left early, hopefully next month will be better.
