I just got back from a 250 mile day up in Suches, Helen, and Surrounding area. Had a blast but I was in my newly purchased S2000.
What a fantastically fun little car!!

Driving slower cars fast is more fun than driving faster cars slow. You can't really reach the potential of the high HP cars in the mountains, but you can really enjoy a lightweight car that lets you really work the gears.

Coming up on my favorite time of year, weather wise. Hoping to do some good driving soon.

AutoHaus Social has an event in conjunction with Appalachian Driving Experience next weekend. Signup closes this Friday 9/3. I went last year and it was very well organized and executed. I'm going back this year.

I like doing Week day drives for that reason, this time of year.
We're talking about going up tmrw. and coming home after rush hour is over. Maybe do a night run
