Let's use this thread to post / update for Any and All Metro Atlanta (and surrounding area) Porsche / Car Events and N. GA Mountain Drives.


Some here expressed they do use Facebook ( I don't blame them. I threaten to delete my account daily..lol), so this will allow you folks / us to post and stay up on UPCOMING Events and Drives to attend.


After the Events / Drives, feel free to post pics and vids from said event / drive as well. We'd love to see them.


Unfortunately, I'm on duty every other weekend, so I try to use some week days to go on drives. Post up if you're off during the week as well.

Thanks for posting those up. I'm going to subscribe to this thread so I get notifications of updates.

I have commitments next weekend, a class down in S. Ga. the first weekend of March and a track day w/Chin the second weekend. So I'm tied up the next three weeks, but otherwise I'm generally available for a drive at least once/twice a month with advance notice.

The GF and I are thinking about taking a drive to the Mountains tmrw. around mid- morning or so. I might take the 308 since it'll be such an awesome weather day.

Anybody off?

Though I have had negative experiences with most of the "official PCA" and unofficial organized Porsche drives that I have partaken in.
I usually just drive solo in the mountains now. But as a Dahlonega local, I'm willing to tag along with a small group if you're heading in my direction.

This is the Mountain Drives group I drive with all the time, great guys and some fast cars (Porsches & non-Porsches alike) This is also where I got my pics at Tail of the Dragon from the other thread I posted in (What did you do with your 991 today?)

Some GoPro footage of my run through Hwy 28 Hellbender and Tail of the Dragon...both of which were some of my fastest and cleanest runs ever on these particular roads. Enjoy

I'll start checking here as well, I do follow the GA Mountain Drives FB group. They are a pretty good group. Now that my car has tires, I'll start going out for some drives again. Here is a video of earlier this week at the dragon trying out the new setup:
