The session is scheduled for 7pm eastern time, what you see on the session page should match your timezone.

If I skip it, I'll see you guys online. Otherwise, the wife works tomorrow... so I'll be on for most of the day.

Indy - does it cost the same rate to create a practice session under our league as it does for a "hosted" session?
yes but, if you host like 6 races a month its cheaper by 25%. or .25 for 2 hrs

Withdraw from the session and rejoin with your original car.

I'll host a session with the mazdas and the rufs so we can switch out if you want. Which track do you want to run?

For help with the mazda check out this thread: http://members.iracing.com/jforum/po...7.page#3457653

Also keep an eye on the rookie car forum there, they do a post for each week of the race with a demonstration lap.
Thanks for all of the advice …. but unfortunately, I can't make tonights practice event ….. and I don't have a headset (will order now)

I downloaded the Ruf …. and actually found the Track car sooooo much easier to drive and control than the little MX-5 (so perhaps in real life, I should dump all of the miatas and just buy a cup car ……...). I got down to 1.13s at Summit Point after 3 or 4 laps but I found I started to chase the times and was not focusing on consistency

Does anyone know how to switch off the (I don't know what its called) "relative track timer" which shows how much faster/slower you are compared to previous.

I see sundays practice session is in the C-spec at Laguna … so I'll get some practice in that car tomorrow and aim to join you guys on Sunday

Anyone who's up and bored we're doing an unplanned race with the Ruf c-spec at watkins glen. 2 hour session with practice starting now and the race starting around 10:30p.

That Mazda was pretty fun. It was more like a drifting session!

Thanks for the session. It was fun. I don't normally drive the C-spec but enjoyed the skittle differences compared to the Track version.

Carlos, were you having connection issues last night? I saw you drop out a few times but it looked like you were getting the hang of things towards the end of the session.

Just an FYI that in our practices usually we share tunes to try and help others out. JustinL provided this tune during our last practice session and it worked out well for me last night at the glen. However, new guys don't be surprised if the tune a veteran driver uses is too loose for you.

No i had no connections issues. The issues was i wanted to swap cars. I was better in cup then i was in the other during testing. It wouldn't let me swap cars. i wanted to see if the track made any difference. Then i released i was already 30 minutes late for a dinner that i had completely forgot thanks to you guys.
I'll check that tune out. I have just been messing with the ruf c-spec tune.
