Is the setup shareable? I wouldn't mind trying out some different ideas
At lime rock, with the caddie, don't lift off the throttle completely, no matter what. That car pretty much pivots like a dradle, so constant throttle (10%) seems to give it enough push to keep it pointed straight. Baseline seems to scrape the front end a lot, so bringing up the ride height helps when driving over the cubs.

+1

I thought a 911 had a problem with lift throttle oversteer!

that Caddy is a beast. fun though, Justin's setup is pretty decent, I saved it so I'll share on Wed in case he can't make it.

Hmm.

I have a problem with it under steering out of the turns....providing I don't light up the tires

The setup I have is pretty stiff. I think the majority of my time lost is in the last turn. Its so bumpy, I have to wait on the throttle until I'm nearly straight. I'm pretty consistant but I think I could drop a bit of time if I could throttle out of the turns sooner.

I'm glad everyone else is noticing these things too. I've run a 50.2 and some others around 50.8 but I can't go that fast consistently and usually have been running in the 51.5 range. I'm using the baseline minus some gas and would gladly try a shared setup.

I've been iracing for 2 yrs now, and I'm just now finding this thread. Looks like there's a great RL community On Iracing. What is the Wednesday Night Race name and what time is it. I'm gonna try to catch one when I get back in town next week.

This last Saturday practice session was a one-off thing, though it could happen again in the future...

The regular Wednesday night gig is at 7:30 ET. Look for CXC Simulations Racing League usually hosted by C. Lawrence and click join. It'll ask for a password, which is mrroblay.

The weekend session got so crowded that it became impossible to set fast times. There were a lot of people having trouble keeping the car on the track and then staying off the track once they'd wrecked. It should be a pretty good race if everyone can make it through T1.

I'm interested in a race tonight.

BTW, I think I sorted out the issue with the setup on this car for LRP. Take the baseline setup, and up the front wheel pressure by 4psi, and the car behaves A LOT better. Then you can start tweaking. This track is also very bumpy, which doesn't help much.
