Race Car
Sorry again about my bonehead move T1 on the first lap. Worst rookie mistake ever. I went back and looked at the replay thinking maybe Terry was on the brakes a little early...nope, I just completely missed my brake point and blasted him.

the rear wheel damage took over, the car veered left,,,off in the tulies i go (thank god the jet dryer wasnt in big bend). back on track, seemed to be fine until going into the uphill,,yee ha that didnt work,,,off to the pits i go, three weeks later, they let me out (2laps down) back on track in rear of the field, hammer down though the field and managed to finish behind 2nd plc car. not bad for 3 wheels

I managed to avoid the T1 melee, and ran 3rd for a few laps until I looped it accelerating out of T4. No contact, and everyone got by safely.
Chased on and followed a lapped car for a few laps, until I looped at again after the hill crest...that resulted in suspension damage and ended up taking a tow (time enough to make a sandwich), extensive repair time ('nother sandwich) and when I finally came back out, car was undrivable. I like Lime Rock, but hate the Miata...
Looking forward to Sebring and real race cars.
Don't know if my mates and I will be racing this evening, but if we do, I'll post an invite to the hosted session here.

I heard the crunching metal in my right ear at T1 and kept the loud pedal down and held the outside while hoping Andy and Terry wouldn't collect me in their scuffle. I was fueled for 1 lap less than the race took and started sputtering on the front straight with the white flag. My dive for the pits caused some contact with Jochen and left me down in 5th by the end. I'm blaming the crew chief for that race.

well gang, gather up your iracing buddies, because tomorrow (3/7) we're going to do Sebring, fixed setup LMP car.
why? because Patrick Long is joining us, and he wants to do Sebring before he heads off for the real thing.
why else? because there will be a Patrick Long-themed prize for the winner! (assuming that it's not Pat himself )
in the spirit of endurance racing, tomorrow's race will be 30 minutes instead of the usual 20.
see y'all then! spread the word!
