Oh, Jesus. This looks more complicated than I thought. Not sure if GIMP can handle layered photoshop files.

I did that one in Gimp, that was a quick 5-10min thing, of course while laying in bed I got all kind of other ideas so expect a new version later today.

I was close to having to run that paint scheme this week! Got caught up in the turn 1 wreck then lost it on T3 towards the end of the race a couple times.

We could discretely PM the person who was the "winner" for the week to make sure they don't mind before announcing it to the world. Possibly a scheme with yellow caution tape and the sponsor being the racing for dumbies book.

It sure can. It's all I've been using.

My MacBook has v2.6 on it and it supports layers no problem.

What I had in mind was very different from what pmason came up with... but I like his better. It's a true eyesore.

Here is the latest, still a few things I want to do. The race team would be "Hold My Beer Racing".
I was thinking for the rookie status having that one patch in the middle of the rear bumper being red. I'm happy to run it as I have only been at this for a month.

How about just a giant "X" on the bumper like they do in Club Racing?

ny991 is there a larger version of that, didn't scale all that well.
Here is the other hood option.

Back when I was motorcycle racing, most of the guys who started off in the region got their racing license from the same local school, "Learning Curves". Then for the next few race weekends, all the new graduates would wear their blue "Learning Curves" T-shirt over their leathers, to signify "I'm new" and to make sure they got a little extra room.

The year I earned my Pro license... I went out in a race wearing my LC t-shirt and messed with the heads of a LOT of guys. Usually took most guys a second or two after I passed them to realize...

Jim thought about that, was thinking this might be easier to see. NASA makes you run a red square about the size of a license plate.
I need to get back to work :-)
