Phil, Thanks for hosting. Still can't get into the 49's. Funny how long half a second can be.

George, but you were a head of me by a few tenths.
I should make everyone but me carry and extra 500lbs when I host :-)

Question

Thanks for hosting. Was fun for sure. I love running with people I know (well, kinda, sorta).

i agree that is much more fun with a bunch of cars. Learning to drive in traffic is one of the things i need the most practice on. I'm most afraid of running into some one else and ruining their race. But you have to learn to stay close enough to take advantage of any errors they might make.

It's hard not to get tense when you are in close quarters. Practice is the key i guess.

Last weeks race i made a few mistakes but i managed not to hit anyone (well once in practice) and finished in the top ten. I look forward to this weeks race.

See you all tomorrow for practice.

Very true - for even real-life racing

I am a rookie and getting my setup in order but the audio shuts off after about 15 seconds. Any ideas on where to start?

Thanks,

Weird. My audio change around all the time. I have to check the settings each and every time I start the game. I always have to go and reset the audio in the options menu to my headset.

Just hosted a race at the glen without the boot. Had a bunch of entries and it was awesome. I vote for the classic layout for the glen race. So much fun in this car! It just flows.

Stupid me just plugged it in and started to use it not knowing that it has all these settings and driver. I only learned once I now have my shifter mounted I needed to calibrate it. So went through the different settings, but if you are not careful with force feedback it would probably rip you arms off :-)
Found this site with some settings: http://f-wheel.com/settings/gt3rs-v2clubsport-iracing
I am at 900 rotation, FF at 22, damper 0, Min force 8.3, linear mode clicked on.
The settings on my wheel look like this
Sen: Off (This means it uses the driver setting for wheel angle.)
FF: 100
Sho: 100
Dri: Off
ABS: Off
Lin: 000
Dea: 000
Spr: 0
Dpr: 0

Also download the driver for the wheel and set damper to 0 and rotation to 900

Thanks, Sean, I played with it a little yesterday, kept turning things down. I will look at it again today before practice.

Thanks,
Update your audio driver? Check the sound settings in the game options and after the sound stops see if the proper device is selected.
