No worries at all-I have heard them all and for me would rather do it early. I have heard 4/40k, 3/30k 4/30k and 3/40k. My car is a bit modified so I figured it would be good to start fresh. If anyone knows for sure please chime in.

Settling the recommended 991.2 spark plug change interval once and for all
Ok, so I got tired of wondering and hearing so many different answers to the recommended Porsche spark plug change interval question so I took out the maintenance booklet from my 991.2 and here it is:
Here are some tips for the passenger side that may be different in your case as my car has the Tial inlets vs the factory plastic inlets. The plug closest to the front of the car was simple with no explanation needed. The middle needed some maneuvering and the back was intricate to say the least. Angle of approach for the middle plug on the passenger side.
For the rearmost plug, I first tried it the same way I did it on the drivers side using a wobble but the angle was too drastic and it would bind the wobble. I ended up using the 6 inch extension alone and then attaching the ratchet directly on it near the cat bypass in my case. Not sure how feasible this would be with the stock cat in place but even still I am sure it’s doable with some patience.

Three year service wrapped up! Oil and oe filter (Mobil 1 5w-50) replacement cabin filters, spark plug replacement, fixing of torn vacuum hose at water pump discovered while checking things under the car, checking fluids (coolant, washer and Meth). Service interval reset with Creader VIII obd2 scanner and oil sample sent to Blackstone for analysis. Air filter replaced about 1000 miles ago when I did the Tial inlets. Only thing left is to replace the wiper blades which I have to order. Total was less than $200 and about 4-5 hours of my time spread over a few days.
Your welcome, the hoses slipped right in. Keep in mind, I am running the Tial inlets so it uses silicone connectors. Even with the stock inlets it wasn’t too bad to get them back on.
NP-hopefully it helps others out when it comes time to change their plugs. In the end, the car has been driving great with no misfires, codes etc. The plugs didnt seem to make any difference in performance but that was expected due to them being in relatively good shape. For the next change, I will probably wait until the 4 year interval in 2025 unless I am in there for something else prior to that. If anyone else has any questions or needs anything else, let me know.
