Thank you so much. The Orange/Purple and Orange/Brown twisted pair is what finally worked on my 2021 GT4 PDK. I get brake pressure, Throttle, steering position, Oil and Engine temp, RPM, MPH, but no gear information. Good enough. This is also with AIM SOLO2 DL and Smarty Cam HD.
Hopefully this helps others too.

The orange/purple-orange/brown started with the 991.2/GT3/GT3 RS and continued with an almost identical protocol to the 982 cars (718/GT4). This was first identified by VBOX, yet AIM has nothing listed except OBDII for the 982 series cars. I’ve never been able to get anything out of the OBDII for those cars.

Those are the same data I get. You can calculate Gear so that it shows up properly in your data and on overlays: that is what I did and it works fine.

Hi Peter...funny thing, on the GT4RS that twisted pair didn't get me all the data...at least with the Race Navigator and any of the Porsche CAN protocols. Ended up using the 991.2 GT3 protocol and the Orange/brown and orange black coming out of the CAN gateway....that gave me everything plus brakes. The Orange/Brown PIN 6 and Orange/Black PIN 16 is the CAN network for the ECU and the one you mentioned above is the one for the dash, reason why I didn't have brake pressure but did had speed, rpm, temps, etc.

Yes, the reason I was confused in suggesting the orange/black-orange/brown with the early protocol was because Ray and I had worked that out the same time you were testing it for the RN!

The orange/black-orange/brown was also what the 991.1 GT3RS needed for information for the VBOX nine years ago, too.
