It’s been a slow process with the engine build. World wide supply chain being what it is, really slowed the process up, but we are finally making some advances. The head has been machined / ported, drilled and taped for ARP 12mm bolts, installed bronze valve guides, refaced seat 3 angle, lapped valves etc.

Forged pistons and steel connecting rods with tri metal and big bearings. The pistons set us back a couple of months.

The turbo on my car should be a T4, but is actually a T3, which came on the later Evo cars. The T3 was a improvement on reducing some of the turbo lag. My T3 was rebuilt and modified for the increase in HP. The following was done.

Original turbo has been upgraded by fitting a Garrett GTW Ball bearing core assembly.

Compressor cover and turbine housing have been CNC re-profiled to perfectly match the larger turbine and compressor wheel.

Std oil and water connections are maintained.

Compressor wheel spec: 48.55mm inducer, 69mm exducer, billet 7/7 blades with extended tips

Turbine wheel spec: Garrett GTW34, inducer 65mm, exducer 57mm

Turbine seal has been upgraded to a Total seal stagger gap piston ring

Actuator upgraded to Turbosmart GenV Twin port with

Ported wastegate

Walkers Garage in the UK has the motor almost done and it looks amazing. Hopefully it will be in my garage in a few weeks.

Thanks jmann. It has been painfully slow getting the engine built, but it should be on its way next week and then the fun starts.

LOL....I passed over the sell it part. I always say I am keeping the build I am working on and then get bored and sell it. As of now, NOT for sale.

As in refurb or? Most for sell look like nice pretty nice examples; I'd love to find one similar to OP that has a few bumps and bruises so I can drive it year round guilt free!

Does need a donor car to be stripped and prepared, which I know they can provide but you are right that nice examples are being sold at a high price

Company is 'Auto Integrale' in the UK, who also sell quality Integrales (as Auto Moda).
https://automoda.net/inventory/

I think they've done one or two builds for the USA already.
They run a car on demo events, including Rally Legends in Europe and know their stuff.

Just looked and they do have an older 8v track car that could be a bit of fun.
