I was told it took 5 hours for each car and they had multiple hooked up when they showed me around.

For those who are new to Porsche like me, be prepared for the options as a couple will add time to you receiving the vehicle. One is ceramic paint protection and the other is rock film protection. Rock film is added to the front and top surfaces of the vehicle. Ceramic coating just protects the paint from sap, pollen, dirt, etc. I just learned of those options today so even if the car is ready we have to wait for those 2 options to be completed. Obviously you can go without them, but we decided it was a good idea living in Houston.

Point being that you can manage the process and not get caught up in a rush to get your car back to you.

Nothing different with any brand of vehicle. I took delivery of my Porsche before adding any PPF since cars usually arrive in mass andIi didn't want to wait more than a week. This gave me time to do other things to the GTS and also learn the Tech. I didn't drive it so it wasn't dirty and no damage and was given a loaner for the three days without a car.

Totally agree…I went with the Dealer…with full time employees trained by Expel. They sell 6 different brands so do a lot of vehicles. I saved about $600 but there are 3 flaws that showed up later, that I’ve never had with the Xpel shop. The Dealer was out of line for the Ceramic by at least $800.
