One question to Rennlist friends, I and going to do the full front PPF and ceramic coating. Dealer offered my the EXPL PPF and "Glasscoat" by simonize. I had previously contacted an outside specialist shop for the same and they also use the EXPL PPF but use the "Ceramic PRO Ion". Do you folks have any insight to which one will be better way to go. Dealer was willing to match outside installer's price.
Sincerely appreciate,

Finally signed the paper work yesterday. Cars sitting at Davisville are being updated at the port. Porsche system was down yesterday , so dealer could not give me precise date when my Cayenne S will show up at the dealership but I expect it any day next week.
I opted for 10 yr / 100,000 miles warranty also. I intend to keep the car for a long time and had optioned the car to the brim ( PDCC / Rear Axel , Air suspension / Technology package etc. etc.) and felt it necessary to keep the safety of factory warranty for 10 years. Dealer initially offered my a 3rd part warranty , which was about 1,000 Dollars cheaper but I went with "Porsche" warranty.
I also bought the prepaid maintenance ( This was really not a strategic decision but pay now/ pay as you go thing).
Lastly, spent some time in Cay s at the dealer and all I can say is Wow. Really well built and gorgeous.
Lastly, lastly, very relieved that Cayenne still has double sun visor. For some reason, I missed that the first time and wife was not happy and now she is back in happiness zone.

Thank you for your response. Excellent point. I will stay with the external installer who is very highly rated and is a "Elite Dealer" for Ceramic Pro.

What is the other colour are considering versus the Algarve? I have ordered a TGT and went to the dealer to compare Algarve to Arctic Grey side by side as my order is not locked yet. Although the Algarve was nice, it wasn’t nearly as attention getting as the Arctic Grey. The Arctic Grey provides much better contrast with black gloss wheels and carbon fibre elements. Interesting, I originally had Algarve in my configuration and when I switched to the Arctic Grey my projected delivery date moved over a month out. I guess because the Arctic Grey goes through a different longer paint process than standard colours?

The Coupe S I had my eye on was on the lot - it a pretty basic spec, but I was considering buying it. The update was completed yesterday and I got to drive it and let the wife take it for a spin. Leather interior package, premium package, but just about nothing else. She was not impressed and now we may just be speccing our own to order. Montego blue is the frontrunner.
I also got to drive a 22 Turbo GT, which was a blast. It was eyeopening compared to the S, but I think it did a great job at showing my wife what a more upscale interior could look and feel like.

Dubdub12, ordered algarve because I loved color and it was different than any other.no regrets. Can you share where your dealership is on Wednesday delivery. Have seen other C in my area with new positions of rear license plates and front nose.
