24 Cayenne stop sale
Does anyone know, or has an educated estimate for how long the New 2024 Cayenne will be on a "stop sale" due to (allegedly) hazards lights issue? I was told the fix would be done by simply re-programming the vehicle, but the fix itself is not ready yet.

Base and S around 10th of august and hybrid end of August. This is what I have been told but it could change.

Yes, I'm in Europe. ~2 weeks to fix a software bug?! That seems slow even per corporate realities. What's your source of information?

My new Cayenne S showed up at the dealer Monday. Went there Tuesday to pick it up and was told "sorry, stop sale for hazard light issue". They had no clue when I would get it. This is in Arizona.

There is a "stop sale" on Cayenne S and TGT in the USA. My S has been in the Baltimore port, sitting, for one week. I was told Porsche USA estimates the cars will be available for sale at the "end of month"; I assume this is end of August but the situation is unclear. I am setting my expectations to a more realistic 2-3 week delay. The issue is a "safety issue", something to do with hazard lights. More info to come I am sure.
At least my car was not on the latest cargo ship to burn and sink in the sea because of these EV things: https://apnews.com/article/cargo-shi...12e960c52331ee

My dealer - they had to cancel their event yesterday which was the official launch. They have 20-30 customer cars - base & S - in their warehouse but cannot deliver them until the fix. Factory said they would apply the update for the base & S during the first week of August and for the hybrid end of August. I really hope the dates are correct because my hybrid is now one month late. Do not know why the hybrid needs more and why they have not shipped them from the factory - I suspect they are waiting for a part but I might be completely wrong.

This is actually really weird. What about the cars that have been delivered to their owners in the US?

I’m in Texas and Cayenne S is held up, as well. No info at all from dealer as to when a fix will be available and the car will be released.

I am in Canada. my delivery date was mid August ... now, it has been revised to mid October. (The car is already in my home country, just sitting at shipping port since mid July)
