24 Cayenne stop sale
#303
My Canadian dealer indicated the software will be done at Halifax port and will be released onto rails once done. The process will have started this week already. Dealer does not know whether the process will be done on vehicle randomly or based on 'first landed' scenario. I sure hope it is the latter as being more fair. If lucky, the TYD will be updated in about 2 weeks time on any change in status.

Just remember the next time you open the configurator and this message pops up: "Thank you for considering Porsche for your next car purchase! Due to high demand and global supply chain constraints, some of our models are currently in short supply and wait times for new Porsche vehicles are longer than usual. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause..." to say to yourself "You used lots of words to misspell incompetence". Unless, of course, they decide to claim that their software glitch is caused by supply chain issues.

Glad to join this thread. Hope you all get your car delivery soon!!! I’ve Oct 23 allocation for Cayenne S Coupe and just had a word with my SA saying this won’t affect your allocation as it’s yet to produce.

He's not "picking it up today". His sales guy keeps telling him "any day now" and he believes it.
The stop sale is still in place.
My car has been sitting in Baltimore (Cayenne S) since July 17. I have reason to believe I will not see the car until September 15...
At this point, the dealers need to be honest with the customers. Porsche USA needs to be honest with their dealer network. Porsche AG needs to be honest with Porsche USA. Honesty goes a long way, even when the truth is hard to swallow.
