My friend said that his dealer can sell the car without update as long as it has 32 miles on the odometer. And my dealer has also already delivered base Cayennes.

Is that software update for E-Hybrid or Cayenne / Cayenne S ?

I looked for earlier posts but not sure which one you ordered.

I assume it was for all Cayennes, even base, since they have already been delivered. My reference above was for base models.

Cayenne S order placed. Freeze goes into effect on Aug 13. I am bummed to learn about the HD Matrix Headlights. Hopefully this gets resolved by the time my build starts.

If I may suggest, Rear Axel Steering and Insulated glass are very useful option. If I have to trade, I would give up on the Burmester Sound system.

just a guess . I think your car build is not complete yes ( check mark is not yet shown) . This may be due to supply issues with HD Matrix chips or 4 zone or passenger display etc. . There seems to be supply issues with some of the options and if you happen to have ordered them.

I’ve got both the hd matrix and 4 zone but I received an email back in June that production had been complete so who knows…
