@DubDub12 thanks, and yes i have noticed every turbo gt has the control w the red button. I thought it came w the GT steering wheel, but it doesn’t. I am curious is the coupe turbo has the red button now.
There is no red button. This is only in the GT version.
Changed the oil and filter on the wife's 2022 GTS. Pretty easy job all things considered; took about 2 hours including chatting with the neighbor and cleaning up the mess the clowns at Porsche Bethesda created during the complimentary 10000 mile change in January.
Bought a Christmas tree. ~2m tree fits comfortably in the back. Wrapped that sucker in a construction polyethylene to keep the resin and needles off the interior. Feel like in one of those Soprano series transporting a body.

Thank god you didn’t put it on the roof. Baffles me when people put these trees on the roof without any protection

Curious but how many miles should I do an oil change? I've heard 5k, 6k, 8k, and 10k
I follow the official schedule which is 12 months or 10,000 miles. I see no compelling reason to change any earlier.
Same, I do my own oil service every 10,000 miles
There is a reason why we are paying paying so much for the ESP oil. It is not only for the low Sulphur.
In Europe, ESP oil is used for very long oil service intervals.
My porsche Cayenne S already has 88,000 miles now, and I have been doing my own oil service since 50,000 miles, when the dealer quoted quoted me $1,100 for it.
I only lose 1 quart of oil between oil services, from the top oil mark, and the engine still going strong.
It takes me now 45 minutes to sevice my vehicle using the top oil extraction method using an vacuum pump oil extractor.. Counting an engine air filter change, too, since the air filter comes out anyway during the oil filter chage..

User error. I bought the wrong part. They are shipping a new one out to me for the cost of shipping only. Great customer service so far.
Part came today. Put it on. Problems. The image throw is not properly aligned and the crest is cut off by the door. I gave up on trying to shim it. It’s also not as clear as the porsche ones. Perhaps I will try to shim it again later this week. For 50 bucks, it aint bad honestly. Top of crest truncated
Dropped my ‘24 S at the dealer. Got a “Chassis Error” the day I picked it up. That didn’t reoccur for several weeks.
But it came back last week and has occurred each time I’ve driven it since then. It can be driven with the error. But it’s stuck in “normal” mode because the air suspension cannot be lowered.
Did a thorough underhood inspection. I have been distracted and haven't spent quality time with the Cayenne lately, except for driving it. Which isn't bad in itself...
I checked the engine valley to look for leaks from the oil cooler or oil filter housing. This has been reported in the Panamera section for the EA839 so I used it as an excuse to take a tour through the engine bay!
Swapped the stock paddle shifters on my ‘24 TGT for the Magnetic Weissach ones - after a few heart attacks it really helped complete the car IMO - even though it’s not a PDK. Fully assembled After install on wheel Original paddles
