Congrats on the new ride!

Is the car in “Low” setting? If so, the wheel gap looks a bit high but it can be the camera angle

thanks!

not sure about the height, that was from the selling dealer. Although when I saw it here Saturday, I think it looks the same.
I just ordered the Cete module. I’ll reply back after I get it installed.

Wash day! Out of the country for 2 weeks, it's good to finally get the Cayenne looking good again. The brake dust had gotten beyond the pale.

I got Chromite Black on my '24 S. It, like all black cars, is impossible to keep clean. But on the plus side, it's the fastest color (in Cayenne's), easily worth 5 WHP.

Had my very first service visit. Originally, made an appointment to change to winter tires, but added a couple of things along the way.

It's a law in Czech Republic to have winter tires installed on a vehicle starting from the 1st of November (if road conditions demand so). I was running for 2 weeks on a summer set.

Overall, here are the things done (at 3100 km (1900 miles)):

* installed winter tires (Michelin Alpin 5). Immediately noticed a change with this new set of tires - the car became more soft and pillow-y. Maybe the fact that the tires now are at correct pressure (2.2 bar instead of 2.4) contributes to it as well.
* engine oil change (+filter).
* scan for error codes, since I got my first "Engine control error" warning over the weekend. The technician said "there is no error in flash memory". Don't know what it means. Was assured that it's a system bug and there is nothing to worry about (at least mechanically -wise).

Overall, paid around 660 USD, which is 3 times more expensive compared to any other shop (even for an SUV of this size and this kind of work). Was I scammed, or is this a Porsche tax?

P.S. Had a problem fitting all 4 tires inside. You can see the 4th tire struggling to get in :-) Funny enough, when I was collecting the car from the dealer's, the tires were loaded in a completely different manner (no photo, unfortunately), which was a more sturdy setup (2 tires in a cross order, plus the other two laying in a diagonal fashion on top of them).

I have the 21 inch tires fitted into the coupe trunk (barely) when I changed mine two weeks ago.. 2 larger size ones (rear) go in first and then the 2 smaller ones go last. Front passenger seat may need to move up slightly as well.

Installed a pair of puddle lights from China on both my Cayenne and 911 , cost $8 a pair X 2 = $16 in total on 2 vehicles

I saw your post and ordered a set this morning. They come in 4 different styles. Note that 2022 Cayennes will only fit one style that looks like the factory puddle light logo. I went with the full color style and will post a review once I install them.

Here’s a link to my post with DIY puddle light installation. Very simple, five minute job:

Had my 40K service completed and my tires and brakes are still OK. Very impressed with the machine. I had a flat tire that I replaced and the service tech noted in the service report that the lug bolts weren’t torqued to Porsche standards. Common man! Who checks lug bolts? In a world where you can’t seem to get good service anywhere I’m very very happy with the way Porsche has treated me.

Issues that I had. Sticky rear door handle that was repaired with a new cable. I’ve had spots (hard water and pigeon) removed at no charge

In comparison my Lexus burned up 4 tires in 12K. Needed alignment that the dealer wouldn’t do under warranty. Leaked oil. And the best comment was from the old mechanic who had to drill/enlarge the alignment holes in order to get the thing properly aligned. His comment when I picked up the POS was “you know the suspension on this Lexus is exactly the same as an 80’s Buick Regal,”

I’m super happy with my 19 Cayenne. I’ll be back at the dealership in the spring when the 24 hybrids start coming in. But I don’t think I’ll be switching.

Drove up to Toronto from DC. Made record time too (just over 7 hours). Highest MPG I've ever seen in the GTS on the trip; a whopping 20.8 MPG over ~460 miles .

Also discovered a nice utility for the night vision assist; really makes cops on the side of the road stand out from miles away. Quite useful.

Rotated tires side-side at 36k miles. This is the second set of tires, and one of the rear tires is the third due to a puncture. All 4 tires and brakes were new at 24k miles, 12 months ago, when I bought it CPO.

Front tread depth 5.5mm
Rear tread depth 5mm

Front pad thickness 8.5mm
Rear pad thickness 9mm

Front rotor thickness 38.4mm, min spec is 36mm
Rear rotor thickness n/a, didn't measure it

Probably will need front brake pads in a month or so. I plan to do pads only because the rotors are within spec and not grooved.

Read codes with the iCarsoft CR MAX, poked around a few actuation tests, cleared stored codes. No active codes.
