Road trip through Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. Cottonwood Canyon Road was a bit muddy. Came back to the Bay Area by way of Yosemite. Park Ranger asked where we'd been. Said it looked like we had fun. Crane Flat gas station attendant complemented the truck as well. So did guy I parked next to at a grocery store.

I have never before had anyone compliment the Cayenne.

Here's one that you may want to consider.

I purchased one in 2023 and really like it. Hydraulic height adjustment is really convenient. The lowest seating position is ideal for cleaning wheels. Has really saved my lower back. 5 larger sized wheels can easily roll over extension cords. Lower circular tool tray rotates enabling convenient access to tools etc.

500 mile run, 27mpg average, 65mph average. All highway and interstate roads. I put my foot into it a few times but not much.

Pretty impressed with the 2.9TTV6 fuel economy. Almost 700 mile tank range, excellent. My 958-gen Touareg TDI had 750+ mile range, that was awesome.

500 mile run. Average 26+ mpg at a bit higher average speed.

Air suspension is the cat's whiskers on long trips. Game changing.

Cayenne with air suspension and 18-way sport seats is a luxuriously comfortable long distance cruiser.

9y0 is hands down one of the f the best highway distance vehicles I have ever driven. Miles just disappear, zero fatigue.

Like many other areas in the western US, we've been experiencing really bad air quality here related to wildfire smoke.

I thought it might be a good idea to replace the cabin air filter in the Cayenne because of that.

The old filter was a blocked-up mess! The air quality in the car now is significantly improved, and I think the air flow at lower fan speeds is improved also.

Easy item to overlook I guess.

Thanks to those that contributed to the thread linked below for the great DIY tips and photos on replacing this filter...

Old vs new. What a mess.
