Have 500 miles on the car so far and love it. Super happy with my decision. My wife was a bit worried on the stiffness of the ride since she is 7 months pregnant but in Normal mode it's fine for her, no complaints. Titanium exhaust sounds so good in sport, when I took it to get smog tested the tech kept asking me if its tuned or modified because of the way it sounds
I agree 100% -- this is a phenomenal vehicle. No regrets either. Like you, I was concerned about the stiffness, but fortunately it's not an issue. Normally, I drive in Sport Mode -- both the stiffness and the responsiveness are spot on. Recently, I've upped my game -- dialing into the Sport+ mode, and it's wild. The exhaust sound is great (you know the engine is doing it's thing), but the sound is not overpowering or obnoxious, although I haven't solicited my neighbors regarding their thoughts -- don't want to "Poke the Bear(s)". Really glad I have the thermal sound insulated glass.

One thing that hasnt been mentioned.., previous new GT cars (4) I’ve owned were restricted up to the 2500 mi point. I suspect this vehicle will be no different considering it’s high performance capabilities. Just nuts these things will get even quicker!

Interesting. My 992 GT3 had a suggested break in period for 932 miles, but I don’t think the performance was actually limited in any way.

Is there a stated break in period for the TGT?

I wanted to post this for reference. I ended up with black leather with slate grey deviated centers with my TGT. The grey seat belts don’t really look grey to me although they were meant to be.

From what I’ve read, the EA 825 engine runs at a higher oil pressure for the first 620 miles to aid the break-in process. After that, the variable-output oil pump will be regulated lower according to ECU maps to aid with fuel economy and parasitic power loss.

Page 49, HERE

Can any new owner confirm this? Does the oil pressure seem to run higher than your old V8 Cayenne?

FWIW, the inner sections of the 18-way seats in my GTS are also fabric.

I guess it helps to save weight for the <5000 lb goal.

Ok, my TGT exited the factory today! Guess the recent updates were all wrong.

LOL, join the club. That seems to be norm these days. Be prepared to wait 6-8 weeks for the amp.

Hi All,

I was offered an allocation for a TGT coming from a 957.2 Cayenne GTS, 958.1 Turbo and a 9Y0 Turbo.

I read earlier on that most of you guys got MSRP but I am not sure that is doable right now. What is an appropriate ADM to pay for the a build slot here in S. Cal?

I got MSRP from out of state, planned for PECLA delivery but then they cancelled non 911 and Taycan PECLA deliveries so I had to pay 2500 for enclosed transport. Having said that, if my local dealer offered me a 5K ADM I would have just went with that. The transport eats into the ADM if its small, and I would have preferred my servicing dealer to be the dealer I purchased the vehicle from for warranty work as well as building a solid relationship for future allocations.
