Did anyone ever find Comfort open/close windows from remote HOLD arm.disarm function? I had a look around in FRT END electronics....could not find it. This was so easy on Macan thx
I'm gonna leave the stuff way down below in place until I test some things in the morning. Tonight, using PIWIS, I put the car back in full auto start/stop mode (and put my headlights back to normal PDLS+). This probably turned my seat belt chimes back on. So, after letting the car sit off/locked for almost an hour, I booted up the x431 and compared things against all of the settings further below. There were only a few differences. So, to test and see if I found everything, I went in and changed the following using the x431:
DME - Activation of start-stop function--P150_Ansteuerung Ladedrucksteller Bank 2: change from Activated to Not Activated
DME - Coding--Block07-Start_Stop: change from Present to Not Present/coding Cell Not Used (this generated an error on the gauge cluster - the drivetrain error where the 4-connected-wheels diagram displays)
Front End Electronics - Kodierwert_P150_Ansteuerung Ladedrucksteller Bank 2:-AraStartStop change from Start_stop_prevention_allowed to Start_stop_prevention_not_allowed
Confirmed - this does completely disable Auto Start/Stop in the same manner as the PIWIS route using F7. This route takes about 5 minutes. The Start/Stop button on my home screen is gone and is not available as an option when customizing the home screen. On the Drive Settings screne (Normal/Sport/Individual), there is no Start/Stop button. There is no Start/Stop button option for the custom steering wheel button. This is all just like you see in the screen shots here: https://rennlist.com/forums/cayenne-...l#post17167985
So far, I have driven 10 miles to the office and it appears to have worked. To add, that I no longer see the "***" option in the PCM which is plus.. I'll continue monitoring for the next couple of days. I did want to point out the ONLY difference in steps shared by @runbuh is:
Step 3: "Front End Electronics - Kodierwert_P150_Ansteuerung Ladedrucksteller Bank 2:-AraStartStop change from Start_stop_prevention_allowed to Start_stop_prevention_not_allowed"
I did NOT see this option on my Launch scanner even while searching with keywords. I can only guess Launch may have incorporated this line coding under either Step 1 or Step 2? Not sure though..
Thanks to ALL those who contributed their coding knowledge. It sure helps those of us who are getting into this arena for the first time.. Now I'm saving up for a Power Supply Unit so I can do further coding..
Power supplies have come down in price. There are also some battery chargers that now have a power supply function. I have an MST-80 plus or something like that that I bought 6 or 8 years ago. There were not as many options then. I think Porsche specifies a certain number of amps that is more than the MST-80.
For OBD coding, several things can be done with the car running — no power supply needed. Power supply is required for ECU work.
I’ve had Sport Chrono, Matrix LED Activation, and instrument cluster color change all done with the car running and no external power. The Matrix Activation alone takes about 3 hours, so that’s confirmed.
Has anyone figured out how to set a "last remembered" for the stupid "Assistance Systems"?
Too many times I've had my 2020 Cayenne now (and I've only owned it a few weeks - but this drove me BONKERS with my 2023 Macan GTS I had previously) randomly SLAM on the brakes because it picked up "something" in front. I'd heard "Innodrive" was supposed to be better - but then today while driving through a parking lot, it happened again. At least with the Macan it seemed to remember when I disabled Porsche Active Safe. Had an annoying giant crossed-out error symbol on the dash... but at least it was off.
I'd like "Porsche Active Safe", "Emergency Stop", "Intersection Assistant" all to at least remember the last setting. I hate having to go into sub menus EVERY time the car is restarted to turn all this crap off. Any ideas where this setting might be, if it exists?

I believe this is set by saving the settings to your key. For my 2018 Panamera it would be the set button then the key buttons near the door handle.

Tried it. Doesn't seem to stick. I've "saved" it to all 3 memory settings, gotten out of the car and locked the car via both button press on the key and using the touchless locks. It's always reset.

Automatic braking including automatic braking under adaptive cruise control/InnoDrive has not malfunctioned a single time in my 2022 Cayenne which I've owned since new and have driven approximately 37,500 miles. Maybe you have a camera or radar alignment problem.
Automatic braking in the Toyota Sienna that the Cayenne replaced malfunctioned many times including while using adaptive cruise control. I also purchased the Sienna new. Toyota could never could solve the problem which often happened after a significant jolt such as a railroad crossing. It's been great to have zero problem with auto braking in the Cayenne after having so many in the Sienna.

I can't tell you where it is but it is in there somewhere. Anthony Wong of 9XX.com coded it as a supposed bonus when he activated my LED matrix headlights in 2023. I didn't want the feature and disabled it in PCM settings.
There have been a massive number of complaints on Lexus forums from people who have inadvertently opened their windows and sunroofs when their vehicles were parked outside in foul weather when something in their pants pockets continuously pushed the unlock buttons on remotes while they were inside their homes. The feature was formerly enabled by default but was changed in later model years by Lexus to be disabled by default. I never inadvertently opened my windows/sunroof with the remotes while my Lexus vehicles were parked outside but I did a number of times while they were parked in my garage. Lexus never implemented the feature in North America that allowed closing the windows and sunroof with the remote fob but did in other areas of the world.
I've had similar problems with inadvertently opening rear hatch doors with remote fobs including on my current 2022 Cayenne. Something in my late wife's purse pressed against the hatch door open button and opened it several times before I put the fobs in cases that prevented this from happening. Here is my post about the key cases I bought: https://rennlist.com/forums/cayenne-...l#post18627268
My 2021 Cayenne came without Surround View. My dealer says they can install the parts, but PCNA will not allow coding. Can someone recommend the steps to code for Surround View.
in PIWIS 41.5 E mode,Overview - enter the last item name like: Zfasxxx - Coding - Coding manual - choose item" Kodierwert "- find "Kodierwert Bitfield(4) TV_3D_Presentation" and "Kodierwert Bitfield(4) TV_Proof_of_free_Visibility",change them to"on",Write and save the code, and Surround View is ok.

This need a combination of different codes together in PIWIS, some codes just switch on/off, but need other codes to switch last mode/default on

Reason: change
@cwtt Can you see the 5 GHz network being enabled?
The only other issue I’ve seen is when people have the wrong navdb, so PCM can’t map its GPS location to correct country code, and therefore can’t check if 5 GHz is allowed.
in piwis 41.5 E mode, overview - MIB2[0x5F] - Coding - Coding manual - Kodierwert - Vehicle_configuration - find "Vehicle_configuration: Bitfield(5)wlan_5ghz_switch",change to "activated",,write and save.
Also you can find "Vehicle_configuration: Bitfield(7)Google_GAL_Wireless" and "Vehicle_configuration: Bitfield(7)Apple_DIO_Wireless"( just wirelss PCM full Carplay) in same page

in piwis 41.5 e mode overview - BCM2 - BCM2_MLB2evo_HellaConti_PO_xxx - Coding manual - Kodierwert - all items about central lock, alram, door and window, but be very careful to coding these items cauz may have some dangerous situations
