I picked mine up last Friday and am absolutely loving it with the one exception being problems with Porsche Connect. Some of the features don't work and some do only very sporadically. I have been on the phone with Porsche Connect Support and still have not gotten the issues resolved. Has anyone else had similar problems? Has anyone resolved the problems?
My Porsche Connect app seems to be working. I can see the charging status and remotely lock/unlock and see trip info. I was told that the Porsche Car Connect app is not compatible any longer. Message me if you’re still having problems and I can go through how I set up mine.
My Porsche Connect app works fine if it's in BT range of the car but is flaky if not. I don't have any problems with similar apps for my other cars, I wonder if there's a setting in the PCM I mis-configured?
My connect app works fine too- except- at night when the car is in the garage. I thought the car communicated via the AT&T network using it's embedded SIM - and I know it has a poor signal when garaged. When the car's ignition is off, I wouldn't think bluetooth would be working? Anyway wish I could get a better connection when garaged because I can't see charge status. John
Can someone share the link for both the EPA certification and the CARB certification. I am interested in 2020 model and want to stay ahead of my dealer.
I have found the websites, but can't understand specifically what I am looking for that states whether it is certified or not.
EPA (federal) certification must happen first. Since the government shutdown last winter, I noticed that the EPA hasn't been updating their webpage very often (usually it's monthly).

Then, for CARB, there are at least 13 states in addition to California that await CARB approval after EPA approval for each vehicle model-year: Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington. If you live in one of these states, you must await CARB approval as well as EPA approval; from my experience with special-ordering Porsches, it takes generally a couple weeks between EPA approval and CARB approval.

The certifications are listed under "Executive Orders" (see bottom of that webpage, which lists dates.
You're interested in the second column only (i.e., the first column lists Model Years, and the second column lists dates that you can click on, representing the date of most recent update).
Click on the date for MY 2020 now, which is 09/06/19, and you get this webpage:
The brands are listed alphabetically, but you can't tell the car model from the index, so you have to click on each pdf file to see what comes up; the vehicle is listed at the very end of the pdf file.

Looks like the government is behind like always. I didn't see anything abut the new Audi e-Tron at all but a friend of mine already has one.
The EPA website used to be updated much more frequently -- even a year ago or so. But I think that the current presidential administration is trying to gut EPA, so it's not a surprise that things are not functioning well now.
Never functioned well under the prior administration either. Had nothing to do with administrations, it's just inefficient government agencies like usual.
This will be our main winter/ski trip car but I couldn't see paying the huge Porsche premium for winter wheels/tires that aren't even the ones I wanted and didn't like the heavy cast Tire Rack generic wheels. So I found 4 matching "front" take-off 20x9 Porsche Turbo wheels on ebay, some OE TPMS sensors at tpms.com, and the Nokian snow tires I wanted at my local installer. If I didn't screw something up and it all works out, I'll get a better set than the Porsche official ones for about the same cost as the TireRack package.

Looks good, but are you sure those Macan front wheels fit the Cayenne with the proper bolt pattern, offsets and clear the brake calipers no problem?
From just browsing online, it looks like the OEM Macan 9” front wheel is an et26 offset in 5x112 bolt circle while the OEM Cayenne 9” front wheel is an et50 offset in 5x130 bolt circle, so (if accurate) the Macan wheel will sit about 1” further out than the OEM Cayenne wheel when mounted on a Cayenne (and the lug bolts won’t line up).
Good eye and I was a bit worried so I did a test fit. These are 20x9 5x130 et55. So not exactly sure what they were on originally, but they seem to fit pretty well. No rubbing at full lock and the front calipers have plenty of clearance.

Glad they fit well! Any idea what the part number is from the wheels? Now I’m very curious what they are from!
That is a nice setup. Here's mine, its a replica set with centre caps from China, but its better than paying thousands more for OEM. Also going with the Nokian Hakka R3s. It's also supposed to snow here (Calgary) next week so these are going on rather quickly...

Very nice! I suspect mine are replicas too, but I agree that for the money they are a great choice for winter use.
Nokian makes an R3 and also R3 SUV, get the latter as it's load rated for our vehicle weight.
