Pull the light switch once for fronts and twice for both front and rear. I like my fogs when there is fog. The 6k color would defeat the purpose I use mine for.
I was also looking to upgrade my fogs... since my lens housings are still in good shape, I think I'll just upgrade to a LED bub.
For the Morimoto Type S XB fogs... are 1200 lumens per bulb bright enough?
For fogs, I prefer yellow... I would think 6000K white in real fog situations wouldn't work so well... so, I'm going with a set of these $30 3000K amber/yellow LED bulbs, 2600 lumens per bulb. If they cause canbus issues, a set of H11 load resistors are only $15.

There isn't much fog here in south Fl. so I like my fogs to add a little more light down and sideways and to match light color. I plug the Positive (Red) from the fogs to the cream and black (I believe it was kind of dark) and the black (neg) to the solid brown from Porsche, Morimoto supplied an OEM type connector so no splicing. I took a few pics at dusk, let me know what you think. No error codes on dash.

The fog light post prompted me to plug in connector and see if I could code it to turn on along with the headlights. I did not see such an option, but I was able to enable it to turn on when you lock and unlock the car. Under "coming/leaving home light with fog light"
