Installed new license plate screws and a metal Porsche crest emblem on the tow hitch cover I 3D printed (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:724837)

Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the metal crest... not bad for $17.

https://natalexauto.com/collections/...emblem-sticker

The emblem comes with adhesive foam, but given the recesses in the back of the emblem, I opted to use some black silicon as the adhesive to gain more surface area...

That's really cool.

I think mine does that under hard acceleration bone stock. My Cummins diesel certainly does.

That doesn't even approach "rolling coal".

That video sums up the mindset or lack thereof of folks who think this is cool! Pretty much the equivalent of taking a crap in your living room.

I agree. My Cummins isn't chipped, so the most I get is about what darkhorse posted when I rev it to near redline, entering the highway, for instance.

And the 3.0l? It could only dream of rolling coal.

(I will admit to having dark thoughts about the Prius crowd from time to time, though....)

I've never been a big fan of rolling coal, but if you get a tiny bit of smoke as a by product of performance upgrades (for both power and mpg) then so be it. Sometimes you gotta take the good with the bad.

if the video posted by DarkHorse is the most you would get when deleted, that’s not bad at all. However, I am thinking even when stock, you would get that

Finally got a chance to do a quick wash and wax. Plan on doing ceramic after I get the wheels refinished, which hopefully will be soon

no regrets... more performance, longer engine life, 20% better overall gas mileage which means environmentally, I'm using 20% less diesel fuel. But if you don't want any black smoke, you can still do a stage 2 tune and keep the CAT installed, with minor performance hit.

What about losing the Engine/emission warranty aspect for Cayenne Diesel?

I think you are being sarcastic but even if you are not prosecuters can't do anything for modified car. They can only do something to the garage door who installed/procided the tune.
