I got mine good and stuck last year. We were driving along farm roads and there was a nut orchard along the side of the road with huge puddles. They didnt look that deep. The shoulder was graveled but that ended fairly quickly under the puddles. The puddles betrayed some extremely deep sticky mud. I thought I'd entertain my daughter by driving into the puddles and make a huge rooster tail. Well.. I went from 40 to 0 really fast and got stuck up to my undercarriage. Definitely not going anywhere on all season tires lol. I was able to rock it back and forth just enough to cover the entire car in mud. It must have been really funny to the farmer who came along, took pity and busted out the tow strap. We lucked out because that road did not have a lot of traffic and could have been there for a long time. In the end we were outta there within 45mins and daughter and I had fun at the u-wash-it spraying all the mud off the car. Probably took about $25 in quarters lol.
Volume 2 ;-) this is just the aftermath, got no pics in the actual terrain as it was muddy as fvck. Went through everything nature threw at us like a hot knife through butter.

Regarding off-roading, the ABS at 60mph (or any speed) will work better in off-road programming mode 1 than it would in regular mode when you're actually off road as it allows for wheel lock to permit digging in when on soft surfaces... ice it won't matter but for snow it might work better...
Sorry, but that's one of the least intelligent things I've seen written on this forum.
Wheel lock? To "dig in" on soft surfaces?
Nope. The best stopping is with a rolling wheel and I don't know of any 4WD or AWD system that is set up to lock any wheels.
